I have 6 Xiaomi cameras in my possession.
For outdoor use, I have 2 of them, the aw200 and aw300.
As a camera, it is quite good, with very good resolution day and night. I was impressed by the LED, it is quite powerful. When motion is detected, the LED can light up and a sound like a siren can be heard. You can activate the LED and the siren by yourself from the application if you want to see something at night, for example. I would like to mention the negatives that I encountered.
A big issue with the power cable. I wanted to place it in an outdoor area where there is no nearby power outlet. I tried using the classic extension for DC 5.5 x 2.1mm and it doesn't fit. There is no extension on the male side of the power supply, I searched in many stores, I even asked info quest. So the power outlet needs to be within about 3 meters. In the case of the aw200, for example, the power cable is type C. On some days when it was raining continuously, the speaker got filled with water and I had to hit it 7 or 8 times for the siren to clear. When the memory card is full, it doesn't loop back to the beginning automatically like it does in other Xiaomi cameras that I have. I have issues with the wireless display, not everything works correctly. I will also compare it with the tapo c310 to see which one is better.

  The connection to the wireless network (100Mbps Cosmote) is terrible. The distance is 1m from the router, with a wall in between. Initially, it had a signal, everything was fine. After 30 minutes, there was no communication with the wifi. I disconnected it from the power to supposedly restart it, but it was in vain! I reset it, but it still wasn't recognized. From most of the comments, I saw it rated highly, my mistake

  The connection to the wireless network is tragic. As long as I had it within 4 meters without obstacles indoors at home for testing, it was somewhat okay, but still, once a week it would lose connection and there would be no image. The solution was to disconnect it from the power supply to reboot it. When I placed it on the other side of the house, still indoors, at a distance of about 8-9 meters without any obstacles, there was no contact with the network. Needless to say, all my wireless devices have perfect signal at the same distance, even a mobile phone from the same company. For a device that is supposed to be for security, it does not provide the required stability. Other than that, if it works, its application is okay and you can easily find the areas that had movement in the monitored space.
