The HPE Smart Array P408i-p SR Gen10 controller is an enterprise-class RAID controller that enhances application performance. It provides 12 Gb/s SAS connectivity to HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers when connected to the internal 12 Gb/s storage device. It increases performance with 2 GB Flash-based write cache memory and reduces latency in write-intensive applications.
It improves performance in storage environments where data is repeatedly read by a large number of SSDs using HPE SSD Smart Path.
