From a design perspective, as another review mentions, everything looks fine... until its surface inevitably starts to corrode and smell awful. I don't think the resin, which is supposed to be the material of it, should smell like that: it's a plastic/oil smell, definitely not healthy to breathe... and it has been mentioned, if one looks carefully, for other dispensers from the same company. So, I'm giving it a toss and 1 star, honorably, because zero is not an option.
Very good! Advantages:
1. its base is smooth, so it doesn't scratch the surfaces it is placed on
2. it is quite large, so you don't need to constantly refill soap
3. it has a large opening (inlet), so it fills quickly and doesn't create that bubble effect at the spout when filling quickly, resulting in spills
4. it has a plastic pump, so it doesn't oxidize like the metal one that loses color
5. the plastic pump is much easier to clean
6. the spout of the pump is long, so when a little soap spills, it doesn't fall onto the container, which is much harder to clean
7. the pump has a wide base, and when you want to fill the container with soap, you just take it out and turn it upside down, and it stands perfectly, so you don't have to try to lean the pump somewhere that doesn't stand and soap runs out
I also saw a photo from another buyer; I can't imagine how that happened... for me, I have them (and I have them in 7 places in the house), I've had them for almost a year and a half, and I use them frequently, and they are still perfect
