They are very good headphones, they stay in your ear well and have a very soft cushion, and you can wear them for about 2 hours without your ears hurting afterwards. In terms of sound, they are quite good, and the box has an audio jack for connections to your computer, your phone, etc., and type C to type C. For the price, they are a bit expensive, but they are worth it because they are Bluetooth
I have a crazy issue with the connection on the laptop while on the phone I have no issues; on the laptop, it keeps disconnecting, and this happened after the update I did through the Sony app. Before I did the update, it was working perfectly; I had them connected simultaneously on both the phone and the laptop, and I can't find a solution anywhere
Quite good headphones, with quality sound and a good equalizer. I like the fact that in the Sony app for the headphones, you can adjust the EQ not only manually but also try the preset types it has with various numbers. Connection with iPhone was good, and the sound was quite nice with strong bass. The ANC works well, especially at the gym where I use them, and I don't need to raise the volume excessively. For their price, they are quite good; I would buy them again.
P.S. For those who have consoles, the headphones include a 3.5 mm headphone jack and the cable. I tested them on PS4, and the sound was quite good.
I wonder about the 5 stars. Let me explain: First of all, I am a professional music producer/former DJ who now works in the music industry, which means I try out a lot of headphones and speakers. Today, I was gifted these specific ones at the office and I was happy when I saw them because I thought that at this price they wouldn't be completely fake. In general, there are countless headphones for 50 euros that have a very decent sound for their price. These specific ones are the most muffled and wrong-sounding I've ever heard; they aren't worth even 20 euros. The build quality is laughable, and the sound quality is UNACCEPTABLE. Stay away, find others; even the cheapest series from Sony, which I also received as a gift at the office some time ago, have better sound than these. I think the only thing you are paying for is the noise cancellation, no sound quality at all.
Really, this is an excellent model that is - probably - the best choice in its price category. It shares many similarities with Sony's flagship Over-Ear models (WH-1000M4/5). For example, a key feature is Sony's V1 audio processor, which is common in both the WH-CH720N and the WH-1000XM5. The noise cancellation technology is very good. The microphones for making calls are - more than - satisfactory. Finally, the battery is essentially excellent.
I have tested their connectivity quality using an iOS device, a Windows 11 PC (with simultaneous connection capability), as well as a MacBook. The headphones maintained a very smooth connection throughout their use. In conclusion, given their price, I don't think anyone can regret purchasing the WH-CH720N. I highly recommend them!
The product was rated 4 stars for sound quality, compared to wired headphones of the same price and category. It supports AAC codec and falls short in clarity and sound purity. The app helps a lot in achieving the desired sound customization and I am satisfied with the sound they offer. The noise cancelling is very good for the price category. They meet my needs mainly for travel, television, and gaming, and because I am demanding in sound, I usually use wired ones for music, where the sound is more vibrant, with dynamics and clarity. Very fair for their price. Anyone primarily interested in sound quality and exclusive use of Bluetooth headphones should consider spending a bit more on models that support LDAC or aptxhd.
The headphones, as everyone mentions, do not have the best noise cancellation, although for this price one would expect something better. Generally, the sound quality is quite good with nice bass and mids with some adjustments through the app.
perfect headphones ... but not for noise cancellation. better to wait to get something more expensive that has real noise cancellation... you can hear EVERYTHING. and the one star is because I paid 100 euros for this reason following the reviews. it's not a small amount of money..
In the positives:
Lightweight, relatively comfortable (meaning I can wear them comfortably for about two hours, but they start to bother me after that) and very easy to connect. Good sound quality during calls and okay noise cancelling. Also, very good battery life.
In the negatives:
If you use them with a computer, the sound quality when using the microphone (e.g. for gaming and Discord) is terrible because it switches to HSP/HFP from LDAC. From what I've read, this has to do with Bluetooth technology in general. Despite this, the discovery was very disappointing. Unfortunately, this cannot be fixed even with a wired connection as they only function as headphones with the cable. So if you want to listen to something while talking, look for something else unless you have another microphone to use with them.
The sound is elevated with the Sony app, which has many features, statistics, and most importantly, auto backup so you can restore your settings.
The "filtering" is noteworthy, but they cut their volume when connected to a smartphone for those who want extreme volume. On a computer, they clearly have no problem.
Their connection, whether via simple Bluetooth or the Sony app, is very easy.
The Noise Cancellation is quite satisfactory, 3.5/5.
The pads are of good quality, and generally, the product consists of flexible and well-made plastic parts. So if they fall from a small height and several times, you can be sure that they won't suffer the slightest damage.
The bass is simply satisfactory, but you can enhance it with settings that I will provide below!
They are super lightweight, made from 100% recyclable materials. I have reached 24 meters! connection to a computer with a very powerful BT deck v5.3 without any interruptions and with wall/door obstacles. I haven't tried to go further.
They could have included an LED to indicate whether the ANC is active and reduced some minutes in operating time, like the JBLs in this price range.
The Sony app on smartphones is simply "FLAWLESS". It covers you 100% - which is rare in apps.
The service is also a big point for these headphones, definitely an important factor!
I read somewhere in a comment or in a review on YouTube that they do not turn off by themselves when not in use.
That's not true. There is an option within the app where you set when they will turn off after 15 minutes - 30 minutes - 1 hour - 3 hours.
So the fact that some say they don't turn off is because if, for example, the option is set to turn off in 15 minutes, if a notification with sound comes in, the shutdown time will be postponed.
Negatives:
Not loud enough for extreme situations.
Terrible microphone for their price (16000Hz - 16 bit)
They could have added an LED for the Noise Cancellation when it is active.
Also, what I didn't like, even though I would never use it, is their own charging cable. It's 5-6cm like those given with some Chinese cameras for €5. Shame.... at 80+ euros they should have included a 1m cable. Also, a fabric case wouldn't be too much cost, so they come more decently along with 2 spare fabric pads.
The headphones need a little breaking in for 1-2 days. Be a little patient and set them to 75% of their volume and not more; then you will see a big difference.
If you want quality BT headphones up to €85, get them, and you won't regret it. I have over 6 pairs of wireless headphones and over 18 gaming and studio headsets (due to work), and I can evaluate if something is worth it or not.... the 720N is indeed a good option for listening to music and smartphone use, excluding the microphone.
If you can spend an additional €50, look at the Sony WH-XB910N.
Stronger bass performance, "BETTER MIC"
Tips: Disable the ambient sound if you don't need it (battery saving and a bit unnecessary).
Adjust the EQ manually as you want or at least do a manual re-analyze from the app's options. The ready-made presets are not worth it.
Also, enable DSEE.
The 360 Reality Audio isn't even worth installing.
**Important tip to keep the leather pads in good quality without peeling over time.
Every 1/2 or 2 months, apply a quality and highly absorbent hand cream to all parts where there is leatherette (pads-headband). Put a very small amount on your finger and apply it. This applies to all headsets that consist of leather pads**

Their sound is very, very good. Not exceptional though! For the 100€ they currently cost, their sound is really very good, especially compared to the others on the market.
I bought a case for them from SHEIN for 5€ and I take them everywhere without worrying about their wear and tear!
They have excellent connectivity with the iPhone 15 pro that I use them with, and because they are multi-pairing, I have them connected simultaneously with my Apple Watch, which works equally well.
The only reason I give them 4 stars is the noise cancellation. It's good, but not as good as I would like. If you listen to music even at low levels, you don't hear anything indeed, but if you wear them without listening to music, the noise cancellation, although it works, I still hear various sounds that are not actually that loud, but unfortunately I can still hear them.
I have been using these headphones for 3 months now and I can say that I highly recommend them. They are very convenient and comfortable in the ears (even with glasses) and I wear them for endless hours. The noise canceling is quite good, although not exceptional. Meaning that when you are in crowded places, you can still hear some noise from the environment, but at a lower level compared to non-noise canceling headphones. Their battery life is very good and I only need to charge them once a week (with extensive daily use and not letting the battery drop below 20%). They also charge quite quickly. The sound seems perfect to me, but these are also my first expensive headphones, so I don't have a point of comparison. The connection to two devices simultaneously is very convenient as it can be connected to both a laptop and a mobile phone. When connected to two devices, you can choose from the mobile application (the Sony app is very convenient) which device you want to hear sound from. However, if only one of the two devices is producing sound, it automatically selects that one, which is very convenient. The switch from one device to another is relatively smooth and most of the time it happens automatically. One drawback is that they do not fold and because they are bulky, they are not as convenient to fit in a bag.
Satisfactory headphones for their price, and it is very positive that they have the option to activate/deactivate the ANC. With some external frequencies, such as the subway's jingle, it does a strange momentary deactivation of the ANC. Sometimes I use them to reduce external noise without music.
The ear cushions are comfortable and have served me well in all the environments I have tried them.
Convenient for everyday use.
First of all, I have no idea what other users are saying when they say that they have good sound. Everything sounds bitcrushed. Either I am spoiled or the others have not used good headphones. My previous headphones were Sennheiser HD 4.40BT, which I bought at a similar price, and they were much better in terms of sound. The only reason I changed them is because they broke, but I should probably fix them instead of using these. In terms of comfort and durability, they are definitely better. The ANC didn't seem very good to me, although it's the first one I've used, so I have nothing to compare it to.
I bought them exclusively for one purpose. To watch series and movies from my tablet with as little external noise as possible.
After the experience with Bluetooth and pin headphones, I can confidently say that I have reached a higher level, or rather, the best levels!
I felt like I was in the cinema. And with the volume at medium, external sounds were almost nonexistent!
I struggled with pairing, having experience with JBL, I believe that Sony should be more user-friendly in this aspect, but with the second try, I managed!

I got them for the gym. The sound quality is excellent even at the highest volume without any distortion. The bass is strong. I definitely wanted the noise cancellation. Their construction is also high quality, with the advantage of the cushion on the headband. They are not bulky and fit perfectly on the ears and head without causing fatigue even after an hour. The battery lasts for hours. For me, it is a big plus that they also have a microphone, so I can answer calls without interrupting my workout. They can be connected to both iOS and Android via Bluetooth. I simply love them!
Given that this is an upgrade from a €15 JBL and since I have no experience with other headphones of this level, I can't say much about the sound quality, which, however, seems genuinely crystal clear across the entire frequency spectrum.
Now, as for the noise cancellation, I am amazed. The noise from the fan and the chatter of the neighbors hanging out on the balcony for hours completely disappeared, along with the noise from cars. However, the noise from motorcycles is much louder and unfortunately cannot be hidden by anything.
It seems to be of solid construction quality, it fits well around the ears, has an internal metal frame, and a cushion on the headband. A major downside is that they do not fold, and since it does not come with a carrying case (not even a small bag), they are very difficult to transport. On the other hand, they had to cut corners somewhere to achieve this price, and since I only got them for home use, this doesn't bother me at all.
A big plus is the accompanying Sony app with its endless settings.
