One of the best smartphones at the moment! I've had it for a week and it runs Android 14.. Lightning-fast, smooth, excellent battery life, charging on another level, powerful sound (I use the speakerphone a lot), exceptional photo quality (Leica) especially in low light thanks to the 1-inch type sensor of the main camera. I should note here that this sensor is the Sony IMX989, it's a 1-inch type and it's the largest ever put in a smartphone (from what I read..). With the Galaxy Watch 5 that I have, there is full compatibility and I haven't noticed any issues, except that you can no longer access the Samsung Store and download the Cardiogram and Blood Pressure App. I will miss the stylus and the 10x periscope telephoto lens from the S22 Ultra that I had before.
Purchase at 989.99 euros, my friends, after a lot and I mean a lot of searching. The fact that I had to get a camera phone due to my job was the reason why I didn't expect the next models. The truth is that the prices like 1,600 euros, etc., that they write, as you can see, I consider them as a super joke. Knowing what the companies will release in early 2024 and the prices of those, I wouldn't spend more than 1,000 euros on a phone in any case at the moment. The coming year will officially be the ultimate flourishing of technology in smartphones, remember that. So, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is a very beautiful and sturdy device. Its screen exceeds expectations with true colors, very good black, and incredible viewing angles. The scrolling is fantastic, with lightning speed. The call quality is satisfactory both in regular and speakerphone mode. I haven't encountered any heating problems so far, which is pleasant. As for the sound, I will say that it is not its strong point, but it is not disappointing either, of course. I would like a little more intensity with OnePlus 11-like quality. Its battery is neither terrible nor something amazing. It could be at a better level. Its photographic capabilities are very strong. The same goes for video recordings. There has been a tremendous improvement in this aspect from Xiaomi. I would recommend it for purchase, but at a reasonable price. In Greece, you can see that you can find it at 989.99 euros, 1,100 euros, 1,200 euros, 1,300 euros, and even 1,600 euros because everyone, as usual, is trying to deceive us in this country. With a maximum cost of 1,000 euros, don't be afraid at all, it really is a beast. Don't expect more, wait for the new year, in other words, wait 2-3 months because technological giants will simply release their products.
One of the best purchases I have made, worth every euro!
Any doubt I had about the high cost I paid was eliminated from the very first moment, seeing the quality of the materials, the speed at which the software and operating system respond, the photo and video quality, the quality of calls and signal, even the response to fingerprints which is really fast.
I haven't played any games and I don't plan to as my previous device was for gaming and I don't intend to replace it in that aspect.
Owner of this phone after transitioning from the Xiaomi 13 to the Pro model due to the screen size.
Let's talk about the positives:
+ A true flagship, from the design to the screen quality, especially in the white color that I have, it is beautiful.
+ Incredibly fast, the Snapdragon 8 2nd generation makes the phone fly.
+ The Leica cameras elevate the photography experience to the point where you want to constantly take pictures.
+ QHD display with fantastic colors and truly ideal for the eyes.
+ Exceptional speakers, the sound remains clear even at high volume.
+ IP68 certification, nothing more is needed.
If I can find a downside, it would be the battery life. With heavy usage, it will require another charge during the day, but with 120Watt charging in 20 minutes, you're ready to go.
*Regarding the price, I also found it somewhat strange when most people say "1400 for Xiaomi?"
Yes, guys, it is the company's right to price it that way if they release a flagship comparable to other brands' flagships.
I hope I helped... definitely a purchase with closed eyes
The Xiaomi 13 Pro 12/512 is currently the flagship of the company August 2023. It is a mobile phone that will impress the buyer in many ways. Leica has collaborated on the lenses. Of course, the main point of reference for the mobile phone is the lenses it has for taking photos and videos. The main three lenses are 50 MP, but they differ in characteristics. The wide lens is declared as a 1" sensor, which is not exactly accurate. It is the equivalent size in proportion to a 1" camera sensor. Nevertheless, it has excellent results in low-light photos and of course during the day. I have taken the same photo with the Xiaomi 11T Pro with a 108 MP lens, and the photo from the Xiaomi 13 Pro was better in terms of color and quality. The other two lenses it has are a 50 MP telephoto lens that provides x3 zoom, approximately equivalent to 75 mm in a camera, and an ultra-wide 50 MP lens. The telephoto lens is very useful and helps when we want to isolate an object in the photo. The wide lens is good, but I haven't used it much. Certainly, whatever photos we take, we can edit them and achieve the desired result. It should be noted that we can also take raw format photos, but they are not good in night shots. It shoots videos in 8K 24, 4K 60, and below all resolutions. The video it produces is good; however, it seems to me that it has not improved compared to the 11T Pro. It has the ability to shoot high-speed videos at 120, 240, 480, 960, 1920 fps for a few seconds.
The screen is very bright but consumes the battery, and if combined with the 120Hz refresh rate, then it is difficult for the battery to last a whole day with heavy usage. However, the good thing is that the charger included in the package is a 120W fast charger, which means from 5% battery to 100% in 20-25 minutes.
The speaker has a very powerful stereo arrangement, meaning it has top and bottom speakers. It is a heavy mobile phone if someone holds it constantly. And it easily slips. However, it has Gorilla Glass Victus, which is difficult to break, and it has a screen protector sticker from Xiaomi.
Overall, it is a very sturdy construction, runs all the latest games and programs easily without overheating. It will satisfy 90% of amateur photographers who want good on-the-go photography. As for the price, I believe it is worth being around €800-€900. Personally, I consider it to be top in the category of Android mobile phones.
I changed my rating from three stars to five stars because many improvements were made after an update. User MotoGP was absolutely right, as I saw in every review. I will keep an eye on their opinions.
It's simply a flagship experience. With an amazing camera and the best battery I've seen in a phone, it easily lasts for 2 days (and 3 with light usage). Don't complain about the price, Xiaomi literally has 200 devices for every budget.
I am completely satisfied with my choice, but there are objections that do not allow me to rate it with more stars. This morning I received the Xiaomi 11 Pro 8/128 5G Smartphone for 280 euros through a subsidy from a new phone company that there is no reason to advertise. The following concerned me: So I gave 1400 euros for the Xiaomi 13 Pro and saw that the 280 euro device has a headphone jack while the Xiaomi 13 Pro does not. That the 280 euro device has a memory card while the Xiaomi 13 Pro does not. That the 280 euro device has a speaker of the same volume while the Xiaomi 13 Pro works in Stereo, but through the regular speaker and microphone, resulting in lower volume. I don't know how Xiaomi justifies all of this. Otherwise, we are talking about a premium device with a large screen and incredible colors. Its speed is lightning fast and without lag. Its photographic abilities are very strong, but it loses out on selfies. Its battery reaches 100% before you say good morning, but in a casino where the slot was constantly in use, it needed to be charged in 4 hours. However, with normal use, it is very good. I think 1400 euros is beyond all reason for what it offers. We paid a little too much. A price of 950 euros to 980 euros would have justified it, but 1400 euros in no case. There was no ability to try a device first, so the situation is difficult because we do not know the details before the purchase. To tell the truth, I had to go for the Vivo x90 Pro, but there is no health problem above all. Another smartphone purchase will be made in 2025.
Great phone! And you can't expect anything less for this price! The phone urgently needs a case. I say this because I put on a screen protector and for two days I couldn't put on a case for it to fit well. Due to the glass back combined with the slightly curved screen, it slips quite a bit! It doesn't stick anywhere, has amazing colors, and a very strong camera! I will come back in the future to see it better! After two years of use, no problems at all. The only issue is the resale value of the phone! Compared to a Samsung or iPhone, you lose more than half of your money...
The phone simply flies, it has an amazing screen that is light and curved at the edges (not like Samsung edge). The brightness is very strong at 1900nits, with beautiful colors. I won't go into all the technical details, but the phone is a flagship... The cameras are fantastic, and the front one is also great at 1080p 30fps. The sound is quite good and powerful. You've never seen charging speed like this before, in 20 minutes the phone is fully charged from off. Besides the price, I don't think I've seen anything negative about it.
The phone is fantastic in terms of specs, I don't think there is currently a faster phone out there. The rear cameras are not the best, but they are among the best cameras you can find on a phone. My objection is with the front selfie camera, which is 32 megapixels at 1080p/30fps, and that is the biggest flaw of Xiaomi.
