The Custodian Wardens are known among their peers as thoughtful and endlessly patient guardians. Upon accepting the robes that signify their position, they swear binding oaths to fight as unwavering sentinels, a living fortress of auramite and flesh that no enemy will ever breach. The oaths of each Warden are personal, written by the Custodian himself after a year of meditation on the sheer cliffs of Gallowtower. Violating these oaths would be worse than death for these warriors, and their determination to uphold them strengthens their will to something truly terrifying in intensity.

This multipart plastic kit contains the components required to assemble a squad of 5 Custodian Wardens. They are easily recognizable by the ceremonial robes they wear over their auramite armor, and are generally awe-inspiring to behold – like all Adeptus Custodes, every surface of their armor is absolutely covered with beautiful sculpted details, with precious gems, eagles, lightning bolts, and filigree wherever you look. Each Warden is equipped with a choice of either Guardian Spear or Castellan Axe, with 5 of each provided in the kit. The helmets, helmet plumes, and thigh plates in the kit are interchangeable, allowing the Wardens to be unique.

The kit can optionally build a Shield-Captain, who has a choice of 2 bare heads, a unique armored plate, unique floral shoulder pads, and his own set of ceremonial robes – he is equipped with a choice of Castellan Axe and Guardian Spear and wields a misericordia. Additionally, 1 model can be assembled as a Vexilus Praetor – apart from the standard weapon options, he carries an impressive ornate Vexilla.

This kit comes with 78 components and is supplied with 5 Citadel 40mm Round bases.
