The GR701 is made with high-quality materials, which undergo additional treatments and unique polishing methods to offer the luxurious look and feel that sets a ROG chassis apart from many of its competitors.
A front side air intake can provide ample ventilation to achieve just the right balance of temperatures for your system and graphics cards. This is tightly integrated into a bold new look with features such as the distinctive diamond-shaped badge on the front, stamped with the famous ROG logo and surrounded by diagonal verticals.
The Republic of Gamers has manufacturers who demand the best, and the Hyperion GR701 offers top-notch cooling capabilities with support for 420 mm radiators at the top and front of the chassis, while four 140 mm PWM fans are pre-connected to an Aura Sync ARGB fan hub.
Between the motherboard tray and the front of the chassis lies an innovative vertical installation space that can support a variety of needs. Builders can install multiple system fans and 2.5-inch SSDs or a 360 mm radiator, a liquid cooling distribution panel, or an ROG-themed lighting panel.
Under the motherboard tray area, builders will find a 34 mm deep chamber for their cable management needs, as well as a 46 mm wide cable routing channel secured by various Velcro straps with the ROG logo to keep things tidy in the transparent side panel. This chassis also offers a translucent cable cover that can hide unsightly wiring while letting the RGB style shine through.
This highly adaptable case can accommodate graphics cards up to 460 mm in length and 130 mm in thickness, both horizontally and vertically. So, whether you want an ROG Strix RTX 4090 or another card of similar size, you will have plenty of space to work with.
To maximize ease of access to the interior whenever you want, this case features a hinged smoked glass side panel that simply opens without requiring tools, while at this point the panel can be lifted and removed from the way, if desired.
To facilitate system maintenance, this case features a small built-in storage compartment for items such as PCIe slot brackets, screws, and cable ties, so frequently used widgets are always within reach.
The ROG Hyperion GR701 features an exceptionally refined built-in graphics card holder, whose lightweight anodized aluminum components can be used vertically or horizontally to prevent large graphics cards from sagging and offers additional compatibility with the ROG Herculx card holder.
No ROG case is complete these days without an integrated hub for controlling fans and ARGB lighting. This one is adorned with a gold ROG logo and supports up to eight ARGB components and six PWM fans, allowing users to add their own lighting and cooling in addition to the lighting board and the four case fans that are already connected.
The front of each ROG case offers a multitude of connections, and the ROG Hyperion adds to the tradition with two USB Type-C connections that can offer up to 20 Gbps data transfer and up to 60 Watts fast charging with a compatible motherboard.
The ROG Hyperion chassis is made from durable aluminum alloys that have been forged into a distinctive X that extends from the center of the frame to its perimeter. Its rigid structure doubles as carrying handles, capable of withstanding up to 80 kilograms of material.
This case features an internal ARGB lighting panel that communicates the ROG identity to anyone looking inside, and it can be displayed on the outside. If desired, you can create space at this point for fans or SSDs.
You can optionally enable and customize the RGB lighting embedded in a section of the front panel with the ROG logo, adding to the wealth of personalization built into this case.
Finally, the cover for your power supply features an open section for power supplies like the ROG Thor, which has a special OLED panel that displays the current wattage consumption. The mesh that completes the cover is also designed to reveal another distinctive ROG logo, while it is designed to prevent screws from falling inside it.
