It simply does what it promises! Perfect color performance, incredible volume and separation. It also lifts the lashes... I will buy it again, even if this one doesn't run out, because I just want to have it in case it does! I have short and thin lashes...
They always used to buy the YSL shock and due to discontinuations, I bought this one for testing... disappointment doesn't come easily, the applicator is not at all user-friendly and the application becomes a mess... it's a shame for the money.
This mascara has become not only my favorite, but the only one I use! The result is amazing, almost always people ask me what I'm wearing and if my eyelashes are natural! What I love most is that it doesn't "smudge" and doesn't create darkness under the eye!
While it does an excellent job on my eyelashes and gives a very nice result, the reason why I might not buy it again is that it is quite difficult to remove.
Really wonderful product, it gives length as much as it does, but the best part is that it makes them very dense and DOES NOT CLUMP AT ALL.... The color is perfect, it matches perfectly with green eyes as you can see in the photo.... I loved it!!!
You only pay for the name in this mascara, there is no difference from cheaper ones. I also have the feeling that the content in the packaging is minimal and I hope to be proven wrong over time. I easily get blepharitis after makeup and unfortunately this mascara exacerbates the problem for me. The only good hypoallergenic mascaras that surprisingly didn't cause me any problems were from LA Vie en rose and coverdem
Shocking mascara!! It may be difficult to remove, but the result it gives is on another level!! Tremendous length and volume, full black color, intense gaze... lashes that literally look like falsies!!! It does not cause allergies
The mascara is very good! It is a high-quality mascara from a big brand, so it couldn't be anything less for me. The reason I am writing is not so much about that, but because there has been a lot of mention about there being a problem with removing the mascara. Well, I personally use the Garnier Skin Active micellar water (which I use for removing makeup from my entire face and find it to be excellent value for money) and I easily do my job without any residue of mascara.
Since the shock mascara was discontinued, I exclusively use this particular mascara. Although it cannot be compared to the previous version, it does an equally wonderful job! Intense result with just one coat, volume and length. Easy to use without smudging the result even after hours. In other words, it doesn't smear, especially if you have oily eyelids and relatively thin lashes like me. The only mascara that doesn't move after hours of wear. However, if you notice clumps (it happened to me once), you need to brush through with a lash comb to separate them evenly and avoid them looking "stuck together". It works great in combination with MAC's haute & naughty mascara for false lashes (especially for evening outings). As for makeup removal, personally I have no issues at all. I use Nivea Micellar Wash Gel as a makeup remover and it comes off with the first wash without leaving any residue. Alternatively, Apivita Cleansing Foam also does a good job. Generally, with gel-form makeup removers. I haven't tried it with makeup wipes. However, it doesn't come off easily with liquid makeup removers (such as micellar water). It's worth the money as a mascara, hands down. Lastly, it should be noted that it doesn't dry out over time and it lasts for many uses until it's finished. I highly recommend it!
Years of loyalty to Ysl's golden mascara, I was eager to get the new one as it promised a lot. I can say it's a good mascara, worth the money, intense color, volume, length, but it really doesn't come off at all! No matter what type of makeup remover I've tried, I have to struggle for a long time, resulting in irritation of the eyes, eyelids, and skin, leaving them irritated and red, as you also lose lashes during the process. It is not recommended for everyday use, unfortunately, it's purely for a special occasion, to keep your eye makeup intact. Wonderful result, but a serious issue with removal. Personally, even though I always remove my makeup immediately, I have slept with it on 2-3 times to avoid this hassle.
The worst mascara I have ever bought. Everyone says it's the best and I literally fell for it. Besides the fact that it doesn't come off easily except with warm water, it clumps them together, doesn't separate them, and I think it makes them shorter. I have long eyelashes and everything I've tried from the cheapest to the most expensive was fine. Honestly, the most wasted 30€.
Very nice result, impressive eyelashes HOWEVER very difficult to remove, even though I have bought special waterproof makeup remover products, it does NOT clean effectively, resulting in causing me blepharitis (diagnosed by a dermatologist) which appears every time I use this specific mascara!
Worse than my previous favorite Baby Doll that was simply discontinued. Also, it doesn't come off with anything - I tried with micellar water and with oil-to-milk cleanser and you always have smudges the next day no matter how well you wash it. I wouldn't buy it again, especially at this price.
Wonderful result, it doesn't stick to the eyelashes, but I wouldn't buy it again because it comes off very difficultly. I bought 3 different makeup removers.
Satisfactory but I was expecting something better from the shock mascara, which really cannot be compared to any other mascara I have purchased and unfortunately they discontinued it
