I never had the f1.2 in my possession as its price is prohibitive for my budget, so I cannot compare them.
From many reviews I saw, there are few differences, so I decided to get this one and I did not regret it for a moment.
Sharp Sharp Sharp!!
A real must-have lens!
Excellent color reproduction, at least for my taste.
With f1.4, one can understand how amazing its bokeh is.
The combination with the A7IV fully unleashes its capabilities for fast and reliable AF.
Finally, with the S-Cinetone that I use, if you do everything right during video recording, there have been times when I made minimal interventions in editing.
I haven't tried it as much for photography.
Finally, it is definitely a "relatively" heavy lens, but I wouldn't characterize it as prohibitive to carry for hours.
Overall 5 stars because it performs EXACTLY as I expected, and even more, on all levels!
UPDATE - 4 months later:
I wouldn't change a thing from the above.
It has been tested extensively for photography as well, and it performs exceptionally (I didn't expect the opposite, obviously).
It's worth every €
