I give it 4 stars because I don't know how long it will last in the long run... I have used it 2 times for about an hour each time and the tool is amazing, it easily cuts through logs of 15-20 centimeters and the battery lasts about an hour
I bought it to cut an old olive tree in my house. At first, I was considering a gasoline one, but I thought the usage I would have would be minimal, and the gasoline one would wear out over time, in the tubes in the carburetor, in the seals, and its transport wouldn't be as easy as the electric one that comes with a carrying case. Check the photos to see what trunk we're talking about. Now, in intensive use and reliability in my hands, it definitely won't show because I won't be using it intensively.
I chose it because of the cutting speed.
I didn't expect it to be so powerful.

Okay, the chain is new and so on, but basically, it's the battery (it comes with 2 batteries that can be charged AT THE SAME TIME!) and the cutting speed.
I cut almond trees; it's hard wood....

I have had it for 1 week and I use it every day on olives.
Strong motor and the batteries last quite a while. The lubrication of the chain is satisfactory. It cuts well but under ideal conditions. I wanted to cut wild growth around the trunk of the olive tree, and it was a hassle. It keeps jamming there at the gear, resulting in needing to clean it frequently. The chain comes off when it gets strained, and I have to reposition it constantly. Overall, I don't have a smooth workflow due to the above, and it becomes annoying. In the end, I took the gas chainsaw and got it done. I also think it should include small tools in the package because they are needed for cleaning and maintenance. Another downside is the throttle safety, which is not convenient to press, forcing me to keep the throttle pressed to clear it, resulting in the battery running out faster.

I am a woman and I definitely do not know how to use a chainsaw like a man, I got it because we have small branches up to medium trunks for our stove. It does an excellent job but its use is limited and infrequent. So I have no opinion about after hours of use since I do a little every day.
It has been convenient for me, it doesn’t scare me like a gasoline chainsaw that I have, and I have used in the past, I follow all safety rules, I am careful and it does its job very quickly and with it I pruned some trees a little and it helped me incredibly. Fast, so far safe and not tiring at all.
Just on very small thin branches, it flies a bit like a machine, it’s good for the branch to be somewhat thick to catch, though I might be using it wrong. An expert would judge better what I am saying.
Of course, on very small branches you can break them by hand so we don’t need them all.
It comes with its batteries, its use is 14 days for me who is writing this review, if it gives me a problem I will write it in the future.
So far no problems.

Very lightweight, easy to use, powerful battery ... satisfactory cutting everywhere on small branches or small trunks, even on medium trunks .. Nice and functional the separate oil container with two pressures 3-4 good cuts (use expensive oil) and later a more seasonal chain... Very good and with a pole everything becomes super easy!! ?
In my opinion, it cuts through everything like butter! Dry or fresh! Thick or thin! Of course, if you clean it meticulously every time after use and lubricate it regularly, it's a great tool! Based on a friend who is a florist and has tried many: It's both cheap and good! (compared to other expensive brands, it stands out..)
The only complaint is it can leak oil in storage if left lying down. I place the box so that it rests on its handle and everything is fine
When I bought it, I didn't expect it to be so good. The chain lubrication system could be better. The safety of the trigger switch, especially when wearing gloves, makes it difficult. I removed it. I wouldn't recommend it, as it rightly exists for safety reasons. Slow battery charging but with very satisfactory duration. One battery out of operation for about a year (related to use). Overall, I highly recommend it.
I bought it for pruning olive trees, after using it on 40 olive trees, the motor stopped working and the blade got damaged on the 35 trees I had pruned, with a replacement cost of €18. Now the saw is at the main dealership in Thessaloniki. So far, I have paid an additional €18 for the blade and €14 for the courier to send the faulty tool to the dealership, as neither the dealership nor the store where I purchased it covered the shipping costs. After a week, I received it back repaired with a new circuit board, as it seemed that a capacitor had malfunctioned. The repair was covered by the warranty, but with the shipping costs, it amounted to €30. So, it has cost me a total of €60 extra. As I was told by the dealership, I should be careful because stores sell tools that are meant for gardening tasks and not for more heavy-duty work, and that is not the fault of the dealership. I used the saw with its pole for light pruning on 50 olive trees without any issues. I will keep it as long as it lasts, and if it breaks, I will replace it with something else. Advice for those who buy tools online: make sure that the dealership and service center are close to you and do not buy items from stores that are far away from your location because if you need to return them, it will be a time-consuming and costly process.
Build quality: It seems good and has proven itself in practice.
- Blade: Very good. It has wedged several times in difficult tree cuts and has withstood the pressure well.
- Chain: After 3-4 sharpenings, it is straight for replacement. There are excellent ones for 9-10 euros.
- Batteries: Very good. Truly 3 Ah. How long they last depends on so many factors (wood thickness and dryness, chain condition, cutting method, etc.) that it is difficult to say. It makes dozens and dozens of cuts in green wood 5-10 cm.
- Lubrication: The tool's huge downside. It has a very small hole for the oil to pass through, which the pump pushes, but it immediately gets clogged, so lubrication is nonexistent. I bought a 20 ml syringe, I drop two or three drops into the blade's groove by lifting the chain and a few drops directly onto the gear for every few small cuts or for every cut over 15 cm, and it works fine.
- Cutting speed: With a good chain on green cypress 20 cm, you don't notice anything. Unbelievable for such a portable battery-powered tool.
- Overheating: The engine only heats up if you really push it hard. That is, cutting 3-4 logs 20 cm continuously. The blade heats up much more easily, but if the lubrication is good, it cools down in 3-4 minutes.
I use it for firewood and have cut several cubic meters without it failing me even once.
Very good machine. The battery lasts about one hour each. The disadvantage is that it takes over 3 hours to charge. I believe with a fast charger, it can do a better job.

The safety of the trigger broke and I fixed it myself easily.
Wear on the motor cooling fan made of poor quality plastic that will not withstand.
The chain oiler is just decorative and completely useless.
The chain guard does not facilitate cutting and I have removed it.
I added a strap for hanging because it did not have one.
Overall, as a professional, the machine suits me.

13/12/23 Update. I worked with it for 3 days on olives and the power switch broke. I fixed it and repaired it myself.
I don't see the machine lasting long. It is a faithful copy of another Chinese brand that is much cheaper.

The Hyundai HCS21800VB battery chainsaw is a new model, with a very powerful brushless motor and 2 batteries of 3Ah that have unexpectedly long duration. It also has automatic chain lubrication, tool-less chain installation and tightening, and it comes with the Hyundai telescopic pole, which I bought and has made cutting branches much easier, even in the high parts of the trees. I have successfully cut branches and trunks from 2 large mulberry trees, cleaned and chopped them, and also a few branches from 5 olive trees with one charge and the battery still holds. Before purchasing it, I researched a lot and there is no battery chainsaw with these features and such a low price. The only negatives I have noticed are that there is no battery indicator and that in the beautiful and practical carrying case, the chainsaw fits in such a way that there is a leakage of chain oil. I solved it with Teflon and a good tightening, and I place the case upside down (with the feet upwards), so that the oil ball is upwards. Also, as soon as I bought it, I changed the chain and put a branded one. I kept the chain it came with as a spare.
Update 7/11/2023: Do not try it for cutting dry wood/branches. It will struggle and the chain will constantly come off its position.
The machine is powerful and its batteries last a long time for its price. There is no better one in its category. It easily cuts branches up to 15 cm thick for breakfast. After two months of use, I haven't used it for cutting branches with a diameter of 20 and 25 cm from Pine, which is relatively soft. It cuts through them like butter
