It was purchased exactly 1 month ago. For anyone who is 1.75 and above, it is fine. It appears huge on shorter people due to its volume (even when empty) and it may feel heavy. Only get it if you really need the 25L, otherwise I would suggest looking for something closer to 20L.
Quality fabric, slightly waterproof after a test I did. On the Herschel website, it is described as "water resistant," so it is expected. It was purchased for everyday use at work (3+ hours of commuting) with a 300ml water bottle, a 300ml coffee flask, gym clothes, and a small towel. It comfortably fits everything, and if you organize them properly, it can fit exactly the same amount again!
It doesn't have compartments other than the laptop one and the external one for small items/keys, which personally worked for me in the end. I recommend it with a small reservation regarding the seams and the zipper, which will show their true quality over time.
The bag is initially impressive in terms of appearance and its materials are of good quality. In the positives: It is large and spacious, has a special compartment for a laptop and a small external pocket, you can carry many things and heavy items comfortably, suitable for long trips and excursions. Negative: the only thing is that it doesn't have many compartments. Otherwise, it is worth buying as soon as you find it on sale or at a discount!
It is durable. This is where the positives end. Although it has enough height, it is excessively narrow as a backpack. It does not have a second compartment to put small items, only a small external one, literally only for tissues so they don't get stolen. It does not have a slot to fit in a travel suitcase. It does not have a side pocket for a water bottle or power bank. A 15.6-inch laptop fits comfortably in the special compartment. In order to make my life easier, I use cases and pouches to put cables, keys, peripherals, etc. for immediate access.
First of all, let me say that being 1.57 in height, the backpack is as big as my entire back, maybe even bigger. BUT as a true hobbit, that doesn't bother us as I use it for trips and adventures, and so far it fits all my essentials that I need at all times. The only downside is that it doesn't have separate compartments, so I fill it with multiple small bags so that I don't have to search for things. Other than that, I have filled it with a laptop, tablet, speakers, Nintendo, books, and everything else, and simply because it was wide enough and had good support on the back, it didn't tire me. In terms of capacity and material, I would recommend it without any issue whatsoever. EDIT 2023: The bag lasted for a 24-day tour in Europe without losing a single thread.
Good bag but its quality does not justify its price. I would say it's worth around 40€, you're just paying for the brand

It is very durable, I have had it for 2 years and I have carried a very heavy load on a daily basis.
I use it at work (leaning it on public transport), on trips, at the supermarket, for shopping in general.
Winter-summer I use it and not a single thread has come off, there is not even half a wear, nor has the color lost its intensity, it is like new.
However, anyone who wants to invest that much money should not make the mistake of getting leather straps, as they wear out very quickly and the backpack looks very old. Definitely rubber straps!

In the two years and without any particular use, the leather parts of the bag broke. The same problem was experienced by a friend who bought the same one. It has good compartments and a nice style, but the quality of the materials is not good, and in no way is it proportional to its price.
It is stylish and spacious, but it is quite heavy, resulting in it being tiring, especially when it is full. It also does not have enough compartments, so you have to throw everything in loosely. I didn't find any better option, so I ended up with this one. I have had it for a short time, so I don't know yet if it is durable.
I have had it for 5 months, at the same time that I bought it, a close person of mine got a counterfeit from a well-known Greek company.
The color of mine faded very quickly, resulting in black turning into something like a combination of black and purple, the way black color fades on clothes after many washes (I haven't washed it even once). I attribute the fading to the sun, as we move around on a scooter, but in no case can it be justified for a bag that costs 110€ to fade so easily in 3 months. My acquaintance's bag maintains its color despite him also moving around on a scooter.
The straps started losing small and big pieces from the first month, eventually all 4 of them broke and looked very bad and torn. I definitely did not mishandle it, I am very careful with my things. The straps of my acquaintance's bag remain intact, just like the first day. Of course, to be fair, his bag had plastic straps while this bag's straps resemble more like leather.
Overall, the bag definitely did not deserve its price, I wish I had made a different choice. Its compartments are certainly satisfactory and the laptop pocket is quite good, but the price is not justified. 5 months later and I am already looking for a new one to buy, obviously from a different manufacturer.
Spacious bag for all occasions, fits all the essentials for work, the gym, or a two-day trip. Beautiful design, quality fabric. 3 stars because the straps broke from the third month with minimal use, expected something better for this price
Very stylish bag with plenty of space.. Only concern is about the "leather" straps and whether they will withstand the test of time!!!!
It is a very nice backpack of high quality construction. It can withstand a lot of weight and the fabric is very durable with lining on the inside.
However, for such a price (even though I bought it with a 20% discount), I would expect it to have at least 1-2 extra pockets and leather straps. The straps are plastic and I suspect they will break quickly. It definitely is not worth 110 euros.
As for the size: I hesitated between the medium and the standard. I chose the standard because, besides using it for everyday work, I also wanted it for mini-trips. It also fits up to a 15" laptop, while the medium fits up to 13".
It is not excessively large. Maybe if someone is under 1.70m and slim, the medium would look more balanced
Beautiful bag. The truth is that it doesn't have many compartments, but overall it is of good quality. The Herschel bags in Large size seem enormous to me. I would prefer the Medium size in any case.
