Rebranded scale that is more commonly referred to as "Hello Scale" due to its characteristic welcome message. This specific one is the EK 6012 with some cosmetic upgrades over the EK 6002: the pattern on the weighing surface, and a slightly darker glass on the display that does slightly blur the digits (I hope it doesn't fade after a few thousand presses like the 6002). Silent, unlike another module that Belogia and various others rebrand, which beeps very loudly with each button press, but is also somewhat slower. The downside is that you have to wait for the timer to read 0:01 to be sure it has started. I also spilled water or coffee on the 6002 and it didn't suffer any damage.
It does its job, but you can find it without a brand for less than 10 euros in international markets, often with free shipping. Only for those in a hurry.
Very high quality, very quick to use, it is not among the minimal options, but it is one of the best value for money.
this is not the best for espresso as it requires a large base to get consistent readings. But it is excellent for what it is and more suitable for other coffees like v60 etc
The scale for coffee preparation is zero. To weigh kilograms or hundreds of grams is ok.
You put, for example, the container you want, you zero it, you put it back in the same spot and it will show a difference of 0.5-2+ grams. If you don't put it back in the same spot, you easily see differences of 2-4+. This makes it absolutely unsuitable for espresso, especially where 0.5 and 1gr are important (let alone more) and unjustifiable for a price of 15E+.
Update: In less than 2 months of careful use, the left side of the touch screen stopped working.
Average scale for making espresso because its response is slow and sometimes you may have zeroed the weight of the cup, not started the extraction, and the scale reads 0.2 or 0.3.

Excellent scale with huge accuracy. An important detail is that it stops at 3 kg.

It doesn't have type C charging, hence the 3.5 stars
