It is extracted from the kernels of the fruit of the Sclerocarya birrea tree, a medium-sized, deciduous tree native to the miombo woodlands of Southern Africa. The organic Marula oil is white-yellow and almost odorless. This fruit contains 4 times more vitamin C than an orange and is rich in vitamin E and oleic acid.

Due to its antioxidant content, it is particularly stable in oxidation. It protects against free radicals and prevents premature skin aging. The skin becomes smooth and elastic, while its anti-inflammatory properties benefit dry and flaking skin. It is also excellent for treating cracked and brittle nails.

Marula oil is rich in fatty acids (Omega 9 oleic and linoleic acid), amino acids (L-arginine and glutamic acid), and vitamins C and E, offering antioxidant, anti-aging, moisturizing, and emollient properties.
