Practically, I don't know if it can stop a thief if they get into your car, but it looks very sturdy and strong. It definitely helps that it has such a bright color, so a thief will think much more about whether it's worth getting into your car.
Very good and it really seemed to be very well made. The irony is that my car was stolen 4 days after I installed the locker. Very good quality and sturdy, but it didn't stop them.
Excellent and reliable. Sturdy and high-quality construction. Quite heavy overall. It is very noticeable that it is needed to immediately give the feeling that the vehicle is secured. It is designed in such a way that it is impossible to remove it unless you unlock it. In any attempt to turn the steering wheel, it immediately honks and makes noise. A security lock that, although I am not an expert, I believe is not easy to violate. Unfortunately, if you install it exactly as it should be, you will not be able to adjust it to another car with different dimensions.
Apart from adjusting the arm length, it also requires proper adjustment of the screw with the nut at the base on the upper part of the arm so that it does not wobble even a millimeter when attempting to move the steering wheel. Awesome tool!
I give it three stars because I have a Smart Fortwo 2004 and the arm does not reach the windshield of my car and just stands on the dashboard, so I feel that it is not long enough to prevent the steering wheel from moving (i.e. it has enough room for movement). Definitely, you should put the screw that cuts off the head, otherwise someone can simply unscrew the arm and turn the steering wheel, but this may limit you from reusing it on another car. It is quite heavy because it is made of iron, so it becomes a bit tiring for everyday use... Essentially, it protects more from someone stealing your driver's airbag and making it look like you have taken precautions for anti-theft (because it is visible due to its color and size) rather than actually locking the steering wheel and effectively preventing theft. Also, it is of Chinese manufacture with an Italian lock and not entirely made in Italy. If it did the same things and cost half the price, it would be very fair, but overall I would not buy it again.
Overall, it seems to be a good construction and easy to use. The reason why I am giving it 3 stars though is because it is intended ONLY for one car and I will explain why. When you set it up, you have to adjust the rod with the balls to the correct length. There is a screw that secures it, which is designed in a way that when you tighten it, it cuts off its head and remains permanently at the chosen length. So, if you get another car at some point or if you want to use it on another car in general, then if it doesn't fit the length, it is simply useless. To understand what I mean, go to YouTube and search for videos on how to set up this anti-theft system.
