I don't know why it's called "safety," which initially made me hesitate thinking it might be a different product from the regular "Buff Polar," but it's actually the regular one.
As for this product, it's great for winter, running, hiking, hunting, and any excursion I've tried. It's so comfortable that I wear it inside the house or to go to the supermarket during the cold months. It has many uses (from a balaclava to a beanie - consult tutorials) and the material, while stretched, has incredible elasticity, so it returns to its original shape without stretching out. It's quite long, meaning it's the regular buff + a fleece, so it never leaves the neck exposed no matter how you use it, unlike the plain one (without the polar indication).
