    I replaced a Cooler Master Silent Pro 850W, which after 15 years of use (it was worth the money and more) started having some issues. First time using Corsair and I don't know if it will last as long as the previous one. I decided to go with this specific power supply because of the sideways position of the ports for the cables. Bravo to Corsair for the great idea. It is very practical. You can plug and unplug power cables without struggling or having to remove the entire power supply from the case. Easy installation. BUT be careful, your case needs to be open from the back where the power supply is and have enough space (about 3cm) to be able to attach the back cover, otherwise you won't be able to use it. My case is the Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX. It fit comfortably without me having to deal with cable management.
