Simply top-notch tire! They were installed on a Golf IV 1600 automatic and the feeling was like driving another car in all conditions! Continental PremiumContact 7 205/55R16
Very good tires, they are amazing in the wet! After about 20,000 kilometers they have worn out due to the soft rubber so ideally I should change them
Perfect grip. On Golf 5 TSI. Literally "suction cups". Shorter braking distance, instant warm-up, and amazing grip in wet conditions. I don't think there is a competitive tire for Greece. Get it with your eyes closed
Excellent tire on both dry and wet roads. Beautiful and generally the best I have tried. Grips the ground.
Perfect tire fitted on Audi Q2.
Incredible grip, zero noise, noticeably reduced consumption on the trip.
Modern comfortable tire.
Soft tire that "sticks" to the road.
There are now many good, notable tires from various brands, beyond the 5-6 established ones.
Such was the one that the car (Alfa Romeo GT) had from its previous owner, and I had no complaints, always considering its price (100-120 euros cheaper) than the Continental.
The main difference between them can be summed up in the following sentence.
That one helped the car, this one helps the car.
I wear it on an Alfa Romeo 156 1600cc full face perfect grip ON wet roads soft tire light noise but excels in grip this is the second set that I change doing many kilometers I am very satisfied
2020 GOLF 8 1.0 TSI 110HP. 16*7 rim. It came from the factory with 205/55/16 91V NEXEN Blue HD, after 4 years and the first change to 205/55/16 91V Continental Premium Contact 7, I noticed before installation that the tire had a lot of sidewall and the installer tells me, each tire has a different profile, accepted. The tires were mounted, they have incredibly high sidewalls both front and rear and in a sudden change of direction you can feel it, it's like the rear wheels are sliding on balls of air. The front turns and the rear follows with a huge delay. Like a snake somehow. Very strange feeling and I would say dangerous. I can't understand why it is like this, the dimensions are correct for the width of the rim, however. Surely after a few months where it bends the sidewall it will start to crack because all the weight goes there. I don't know why so much sidewall. Extremely bad first impression!
Change after michelin primacy 4, 205/55-16 citroen c4 which were very good and stable but I think the continentals are a little better in my car. Not fast driving. I believe time will tell and I will come back but as a first impression they are the best I have tried. Of course, they make more noise but it doesn’t bother me.
After extensive market research, I decided on the Premium Contact in 205/55R16 91V for a Skoda Scala Gtec. They are praised in comparison tests. Visually, it looks noticeably wider than other brands in the same size, whatever that may mean. Of course, the factory rim gets lost within the tire. I will return after some kilometers for the real review.
2nd time I trust Continental. Reliable company as well as the products it produces!!!
Incredible tire. I saw from various tests that it is the best tire in terms of stopping and I ended up with this one. It's worth 100%. It is the best tire I have ever used.
It is noisy only when it is new, then it settles.
As others have said, it is soft and absorbs shocks from potholes.
Its grip is truly incredible. It doesn't slip at all, neither in dry nor wet conditions. And even if you try very hard, it manages to hold on. I drive at high speeds and it really sticks to the road like a suction cup, offering incredible control.
I highly recommend it.
I have had it for 3 months. I will update if anything comes up or about its durability if that changes.
My car is a TOYOTA AVENSIS 1.6 from '99, I have it for 7 months and I have driven 10000 kilometers. I drive calmly, the sides are soft and it doesn't shake on bumps, excellent in wet and dry conditions, the brakes are great even in cold weather, the wheels are unlikely to lock up. My car doesn't have ABS, but I haven't experienced wheel lock in braking or starting on inclines from a stop. It may spin slightly where the tires touch the ground, but overall the grip is excellent, possibly due to the best tires on the market for Greek roads.
Unbelievable elasticity, the car has become a train compared to the previous ones (premium contact 6), no comparison
As a first impression, I have to say that I no longer feel the potholes.. it offers comfort.. as for noise, I would say it does very well although on rough terrain it has a little more noise (it may be because it is brand new until it settles) the tires seem to grip the ground and give the feeling that they are somewhat "heavy" without being bad.. the steering wheel has lightened a lot.. it remains to be tested in turns and on a trip but I think it will do very well. Overall, very good tire
I put it on a Skoda Octavia 17 TDI.
First time I put Continental.
It is a very good tire. I drive at least 20,000 km per year. It is soft, resulting in very good shock absorption. It does not make noise in the cabin. I tested it on a wet road, it has very good grip, it quickly removes water on the road surface. In gusts of wind and with many kilometers, you don't lose control of the car. The steering is responsive. At a speed of 200 km/h, it has good grip, and during highway calls, when I pressed it, it feels glued to the ground. Now, I don't know how long it will last, anyway, I will change it in 3 years or earlier if it reaches its limits. Because it is a soft tire, I do not recommend it to sidewalk riders and to WRC drivers with an imaginary driving style because it had a soft cheek. If there is anything negative, I will come back. I will definitely put it again!
