The Spigen Liquid Crystal case enhances the sleek line of your phone. Whether you're watching a movie or going out, keep everyday bumps and scratches at bay
Typical flexible and completely transparent case from Spigen, which fits like a glove on the S23 Ultra and protects as well as a silicone case could. The air pockets of Spigen in the corners are more of a marketing trick than a substantial increase in protection, but the material, fit, and precision of the openings are very accurate. It also fits with the gel protectors from the same company, so in a package, these two provide a proper level of protection that can be lifesaving. The case was purchased simultaneously with the Hybrid Frost Black from the same company; in comparison of the two, I would say that the Clear is more flexible and therefore easier to put on/take off, but the hybrid material and the look of the Hybrid make it appear nicer and sturdier (depending on how well the cohesion of the different materials in the Hybrid holds up, of course)
Flawless case, it doesn't add bulk and doesn't negatively affect the use of the phone. I have no opinion on whether it works well with a glass protector, as I have a film on my phone's screen. With the film, it had no issues at all.
Nice durable case but like all the series, it has now turned yellow. However, I can say that this took a while to happen since the scratches after 1 and a half years of use are minimal.
It was purchased at the end of June and today, on 23/9, it seems to have just started to turn yellow.
As for the application, it is very good and tight, the cameras have their own hole each with a small projection so that when you leave it on a table, it does not touch their glass.
The phone does not thicken much, I think it is just right.
Very nice case, quite slim without sacrificing the protection of the phone, which is evident from the scratches that the case has already acquired. It fits perfectly with the Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass, as it fills exactly the gaps left by this specific protective glass, without pushing it at all and without creating any problems when putting on or taking off the case for cleaning the dust that gets inside.
It was purchased on April 10th, with zero exposure to sunlight, and it has already started to yellow in July, while the company provides a guarantee against yellowing for at least 6 months. As shown in the photos, the case has never been exposed to sunlight, and this is confirmed by the areas that have yellowed, which are clearly the hot spots that are created during charging. If it had been exposed to sunlight, the yellowing would have been more uniform.
Specifically, the side areas that come into contact with the chassis and heat up the most during charging have the most intense yellowing, while the top and bottom parts that do not heat up at all are still like the first day. The entire bottom half of the phone, where the battery is located, has also undergone iridescent changes due to temperature, and finally, the area with the least but noticeable yellowing in visible light is to the right of the cameras where the SoC is located.
Although I have it on a Cream-colored phone, which helps to make the yellowness less noticeable on the back, the side areas on the chassis, due to being silver, make the result very unappealing. Considering its price and the fact that it has already saved the phone from many falls, I am more lenient in my rating.
Positive
Very good application with dome glass, it does not press the glass at all and stops where the glass starts, very beautiful on the phone without giving much volume.
Conclusion
Very beautiful case, does not make the phone bulky enough, in the tinted one that I got it will not yellow like the transparent one, very good for its price.
It does not fit snugly, it throws it out.
Also, I don't know how effective the air cushion technology it claims to have is.
Other than that, yes, it is a transparent case that shows the phone
Very good value for money and very good application, I don't give it 5 stars because it barely fits the Samsung screen protector, so it's a little scary to lift it with use (both on the sides and top/bottom), possibly making it "incompatible" with some films + tempered glass protectors.
