Description

Electric briki SK-219 with detachable base by Sokany, with a power of 600 Watts. The electric briki will help you prepare your Greek coffee faster and easier compared to a conventional briki placed on a gas stove or your hob. It has a capacity of 500 ml and can produce up to 6 single cups of Greek coffee. The process is very simple and is the same as making Greek coffee in a conventional briki. You add the amount of water you need for your coffee, then add as many spoonfuls of coffee and sugar as you wish, turn it on, and your coffee will be ready in a few minutes. Of course, you can also use it simply to boil water, just as you would with a simple briki. It has a handle so you can easily serve your coffee into the cup.

It is good to clean it after each use, using water, to avoid coffee residues. Additionally, it would be useful to descale it periodically, as like any metal device that comes into contact with water, it tends to accumulate limescale.

First time I buy an electric coffee pot and I will not do it again..! Unless I am doing something wrong...! First of all, prefer a metallic one... this one is plastic... Secondly, it is not detachable so you have to serve the coffee or whatever with the power cord attached...! Also, the cord is very short... be careful when washing it... and finally, to remove the handle you need something else, for example, a screwdriver to press a plastic part it has.!

    Negatives:
    1. There is no detachable base in the briki, it is all one piece! So, in order to wash it, you have to carry it with the cord.
    2. I don't know if this applies to all electric briki, but this silicone ring between the heating plate and the plastic briki bothers me (photo).
    3. The briki is plastic.
    4. You can't make a single Greek coffee, it burns it.
    5. It takes several uses to get rid of the smell of plastic.
