  Wonderful shoe! I usually wear Hoka Bondi and these Brooks Glycerine 20 are comfortable, soft, have great energy return, and even though I haven't broken them in yet, I have really enjoyed them! I use the shoes for fast walking and jogging. I haven't used them for orthostatics (like the Hoka) yet, but I imagine they will be great.

  Update...after 3 1/2 months, they have now been broken in and I am happy that I bought them. Lightweight, soft with a nice drop, and a desire to go for kilometers.

  1st Brooks after Mizuno-Asics. Excellent construction, the sole is the perfect balance between cushioning and stability. After 100 kilometers, they have almost the same feeling as the first step and zero wear on the bottom, which is impressive!! The upper part is adequately ventilated and is spacious enough, maybe half a size down would help someone with narrow feet. Not suitable for fast intervals or direction changes. The pace of 4.50 - 6.30 is its kingdom. After wearing this shoe, Brooks enters the list strongly. Must have.

  After a long time wearing only Saucony Triumph 18-19, I decided to try Brooks for the first time in the same category. Until today, after a total of about 80 km with ten training sessions at a relaxed pace, I can say that it is definitely a durable shoe, with very good shock absorption, it does not heat up the foot, and it has several similarities with the Triumph. Of course, this is for speeds of 5:30 min/km and above. I will come back when they are tested at longer distances

  With the shoes in my possession for 3 weeks and over 100 km of use, I have to say the following. Firstly, I am 1.86m tall, weigh 80 kg, and use them 3 times a week for long, easy, and recovery runs. The pace at which they are mostly used ranges from 5.5 to 6.5 minutes per kilometer.
  Positives:
  - Very comfortable, they protect the feet very well, no fatigue after a long run.
  - Sturdy and durable construction, after 100 km of use, they have shown no signs of wear (used exclusively on asphalt pavement and track), they don't feel like they will need replacement at 500 km.
  - Former owner of Hoka Clifton 8, I believe that the Glycerin performs well even at faster paces, something I didn't feel with the Hoka.
  Negatives:
  - It took some time for them to soften and be as comfortable as they are now

It is the 3rd Brooks I have in my collection, the 2nd Glycerin and the other Levitate. Generally, those who know the brand know that we are talking about heavy cushioned shoes, particularly durable. Only the part of the outsole that adds considerable weight gives life to the entire shoe. Where everything else has worn out, this still holds up. We are talking about something worthy of admiration. I wear La Sportiva, Dynafit, New Balance, but only this shoe has such durability. So your money will be well spent over time. It is relatively comfortable, so be careful with the size. I went half a size down with this brand. It takes time to break in, but it will accompany you for many kilometers. It's not suitable for fast paces, it's not structured that way. So for walking, work, relaxed running, and long runs, it is an ideal choice. Honestly, I don't know if there is any other shoe that can compete with it in its category.
