The reason I changed the antenna cable was that the previous homemade one I had was experiencing the following problem: Every time someone walked by, not necessarily in front of the television, the signal would cut out. I bought a wireless indoor antenna but still, the problem was not completely fixed. Since I bought this specific one, I haven't had any signal interruptions. It seems unreasonable for a wired connection to have interruptions, but since I replaced it, the problem has disappeared.
