I got them one size bigger and they fit well on my foot. Personally, I found them very comfortable and pleasant for walking. I also found them very beautiful in the oil color that I had bought them. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned here, they did not last long. Within a year, with only use in good weather as they are not waterproof, with simple everyday use for walking and without mistreating them, one of them developed a hole on the outer side near the little toe.

Although I see negative comments from other users, I will also tell you my opinion. I had the Asics Gel Excite 8 for about 3 years, I still have it. Beast. Running, work, sea, washing machine, and it's like I bought it yesterday, no tears or anything. Now I got the Asics Gel Excite 9, I wore it for the first time today, it seems a little lighter than the previous series, I don't know if it will be as durable as the other one, but the excellent cushioning for a few kilometers of training, gym, and supermarket is something else. Before I got the Asics Gel Excite 9, I made the mistake of getting the Asics Novablast 2 with the sole that caused a lot of trouble, and I returned them. I didn't have a good walk, I didn't step well, they didn't do the job for me. In conclusion, a decent shoe for the money you pay.

Unfortunately, the build quality in this particular model is very poor. The child wore it for less than a month (only for school) and already a hole started to form on the side. Previous models were more durable. I would not recommend purchasing it. I am adding a second photo after two months of simple everyday use (no running, not much walking, just about 1 km to school).

I bought the shoes for walking and because I have been buying ASICS for years. It is the third pair of shoes from the brand that I have bought in the past year that have had a problem. Specifically, holes have formed, one in each shoe, in the heel area where the leather meets the fabric. And these holes will gradually get bigger and the shoes will be useless. Even though they were used daily, both as casual shoes and for walking, it is unacceptable that they broke like this in 3 months without particularly demanding use. I repeat that I am a loyal user of the company for over 15 years, but I see that at least in the models that are under €100, the construction quality is not good

Nice shoe for everyday use (walking, light running, strolling, etc). The construction quality is slightly above average but it doesn't seem like it can last long if used for intense activities.
