Very good. It does everything with ease without lagging. The only thing that surprises me (probably due to my lack of knowledge) is that it supports up to 5200 MHz ram. Such a thing seems a bit low to me.
A unique (only in a good way) processor: Very good performance in demanding tasks and gaming, with impressive energy efficiency for its power. Which means lower energy consumption, lower cooling requirements (does not require liquid cooling), and an overall more "relaxed" system. Excellent foundation for a PC that truly does it all.
Only if you want to do other things parallel to gaming (streaming?)
If you only do gaming, get the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2GHz (8 cores)
In this CPU, Windows 11 parks in games, the 8 cores work only the other 8 with the X3D L3 Cache... and the 8 that are idle only work on Windows and other apps, etc...
Amazing processor. While the 7950x may be better for multithread tasks and productivity tasks, it is only by a small margin of 5 to 10%. However, despite this small drawback, it is highly worth it because its gaming performance is equivalent to the 13900K and 13900KS. It wins in some aspects and loses in others. In the game Star Citizen, which I play, it outperforms the 13900KS and, attention! It outperforms the top Intel processor with only 6000mhz RAM speed and half the power consumption! Meanwhile, the top Intel processor requires 7800mhz RAM speed and twice the power consumption to exchange blows with the 7950x3d. VERY IMPORTANT: The 7800x3d may match the performance of the 7950x3d at times, but when the 7950x3d needs additional power and performance, it can wake up another 8 cores, while the 7800x3d will not be able to keep up and will lag behind. So, no matter what you hear, the 7950x3d is the king and the 7800x3d is the follower. Of course, over time, the software and drivers of the 7950x3d will mature so that the appropriate CCD can be used automatically for each gaming or productivity scenario to achieve maximum performance. If you play, use the CCD with 3D V-Cache, but this doesn't mean that the other cores are idle. They are waiting to be activated for additional performance, and even if it's not necessary, if you perform any other task on another screen at the same time, the cores without 3D V-Cache will be working and occupied with other processes taking place. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, truly. It is the new king. I wish I knew it earlier and hadn't bought the 7950x. Now I have both the 7950x and the 7950x3d. In my system, the 7950x3d is the king, but the other one can be used in the future. Note that my specs are: GPU - Asus Rog Strix RTX 4090 OC Edition, CPU - 7950x3d, motherboard - Asus Crosshair X670e Extreme, RAM - Gskill Trident Z5 Neo 6000mhz 2x32 GB (it's the sweet spot), PSU - Corsair AX1600i 80plus Titanium, AIO - Asus Rog Ryujin 2 360mm, 10x Lian Li Uni Fan SL Infinity 120mm, Lian Li Dynamic O11 XL Rog certified, and many other things that are not as important. If you want the top for gaming and want AMD, go for the 7950x3d. Otherwise, go for the 7800x3d. For Intel, the top is the 13900K(s)
