The Panasonic HC-X2 camcorder captures movies in the world of 4K. It features a 1" 15.03 MP 4K sensor that can record video in UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) 10-bit 4:2:2. It supports 1080p recording in VFR with rates from 2 to 60 fps and HD in ultra-slow motion at rates up to 120 fps.

The X2 offers enhancements in autofocus with face detection, 13-stop dynamic range HLG, UHD 4K image stabilization, and built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi. The lens's 20x optical zoom covers a 24mm FOV range and extends to 32x i.Zoom.

The X2 supports live streaming via RTMP/RTSP and can connect to a computer via Wi-Fi or USB. There is a free Panasonic app for wireless control with a tablet or smartphone.

It records 4K video to SD cards with U3 or faster requirements. It includes two card slots for simultaneous recording, backup, or relay recording.

The compact body of the X2 features customizable control buttons and an OLED EVF for monitoring. The 3.5" touchscreen offers ease of menu control and can display waveforms. There are manual controls for the lens, and a 5900 mAh battery with a charger is included.
