Why should you prefer it?
Because it has good technical specifications
256Wh Battery
DC Output 300W Inverter peak 600W
DC Charge 360Watt peak fully charged 1 hour
AC input 60Watt USB-C
Solar Input 100Watt max XT60 connection max 30V.
XT60-MC4 Adapter
Car Charger Max Input 8A
Excellent App connection with Bluetooth WiFi
How will you charge it?
Charges with USB C at 60Watt and provides 60Watt from that specific port.
Can charge with solar panels up to 110 Watt maximum.
Has a power connection cable that draws up to 360-370 Watt from the household power grid (DEDDHE)
What use can you make of it?
Back Up Power Solution at 300 Watt sustained power, 600 Watt Peak Starting Power (starting electric motors like a refrigerator)
Supports your internet provider's Router + charging base for a stationary phone and can charge your device and mobile (5000 MAh) for about 7 hours easily.
In an LG refrigerator-freezer, as soon as there is a power outage, if I connect it immediately, yes, if not much time has passed to lose cooling, it maintains operation for about 2 hours.
It is very good as a UPS for your desktop computer; just set the maximum charging level to 85% from the app on your mobile so that it is not always at 100%.
Ideal choice for a caravan, boat, Home on Wheels motorhome, camping outside unorganized.
Does not support ceramic electric burners, only magnetic induction (you need special cookware).
It also has USB A ports
It also has 12 Volt
You can plug in a vacuum cleaner in your car if you activate the function from the app and reduce the intensity a bit on the vacuum.
For what it is and for the quality of the product as an all-in-one device, it is Value for Money.
It has a management app on the mobile that also does Software Updates.
Can be used with CPAP Machines as well as other portable artificial respiration support devices with built-in air compressor.
Indicatively, it keeps a patient with a CPAP Machine comfortable for 8 hours at maximum air supply (level 6)... the second batteries for such medical portable devices are at €500 + VAT and last 2 hours integrated into the device, so this proposal is Value for Money for €299 and 8 hours of operation... + then you have + 2 hours fully charged from the device's built-in battery.
You can remove the portable battery of the device you breathe with, keep it in your pocket or in your car 100% charged, and connect it to this ECOFLOW device to get direct 12 Volt power until you exhaust the ecoflow battery (6-8 hours)
Charges with a socket in 1 hour and via USB C in 8 hours with a charger and cable that can provide 60 Watt sustained.
Also charges from the car lighter included in the package and connects to the back port for solar panels up to 8 Amperes.
It has a fan that when operating at maximum will not let you sleep if you have it next to your bedside table.
Attention!
In the MSDS (Material Data Safe Sheet) provided by the manufacturing factory in China, it is explicitly stated that this device CANNOT BE TAKEN on the airplane either in the cabin or in the luggage. The IATA allows a maximum of 100Watt/hours power bank batteries or laptop batteries per passenger both in the cabin and out of the cabin.
This specific Power Station is at 326Watt/hours in capacity and is over 3 times the legal limit.
In simple English, during the flight due to the lack of oxygen in the luggage compartment and the high atmospheric pressure, the batteries will heat up and catch fire... even though they are LIFEPO4 LFP technology, which means that it initiates a chain reaction of dangerous Thermal Runaway.
No train, ship, or airplane crew is trained to successfully extinguish such a fire. The only successful way to extinguish it is to quickly wrap the Ecoflow in a fire blanket... depriving oxygen from the atmosphere, but... the Thermal Runaway chain reaction inside the battery produces its own oxygen... So as a second step, you take it as it is and submerge it either in a pit of water (to completely cover it) in the countryside or in a metal enclosed container preferably made of fireproof material like titanium and not aluminum, and leave the burning ECOFLOW there for at least 9-10 calendar days until all the stored electrical energy is completely exhausted and it does not spontaneously ignite new fire sources again. At least in Norway, with burning TESLA vehicles using the same chemistry and technology of LIFEPO4 LPF batteries, local firefighting forces employ this strategy. This is not fear-mongering... You need to be aware of both the benefits and the risks and be able to protect the people around you and any foreign property that you might potentially damage. Knowledge is power.
After one week of use, we were completely satisfied. Update after one month of use: everything is fine, it does not heat up, and you can push it hard.
It outputs a clean sine wave and has a switch-over time of 40ms. It is very good for use as a UPS; just set the maximum charging to 85% in the app so it is not constantly at 100%. It does not have a bypass to provide power when the electricity goes out... You connect the ecoflow to the power and then your power strip with PC monitors, etc., on its socket, and you get power from the battery and not from the wall. That's it.
I hope in the future the price drops or they release a model with 20 or 50 or 100 Watts with LIFEPO4 so I can buy it at a price of around 100 euros at most, plus 4 more to keep phones, modems, etc., powered on, even if they don't have a port for solar panels, purely as a micro UPS solution
