  Quite lightweight and reliable. It gives me the sense of security I need, especially on "long rides." Cool, I always wear it with a balaclava and, especially in the summer, I have no issues with heat. No aerodynamic noise at all, minimal after a certain speed, but with earplugs, it doesn't bother me at all. If I want to find a negative, when you have the vents open at the top, you feel a pull at a certain speed and above, personally it doesn't bother me because even with the vents closed it doesn't make me hot, so I don't open them.

  First of all, I have to say that I am comparing it to the hjc fg15, which is over 10 years old (I won't compare it to the arai chaser, also almost 10 years old, because it would only get 1 star). It has a shell made of similar if not the same materials, such as carbon kevlar fiberglass. And it was purchased for 230€, not 540€. Where does the Shoei excel? Nowhere! It has tremendous noise even at 30km/h and I use it with a scooter that has a tall windshield, mainly for city use. It's so loud that I thought I hadn't closed the windshield properly. It has a similar if not more noise compared to my old helmet, which had worn-out padding due to washing and usage, causing the helmet to shake on my head during long rides. The materials inside the helmet feel rough and there is a Chinese store smell when it is unboxed. The tightness of the helmet at the bottom makes it difficult to put on, at first I thought it was the padding. It puts a lot of strain on the neck when worn. The visor is much more difficult to change, unlike the hjc where I didn't even need to read the instructions, it was easy. Also, you can only raise it when stopped because it requires both hands. With one hand, you press the button in the center and with the other, you raise it from the center as well. It's a hassle when wearing gloves! It's also necessary to use a chin curtain because a lot of air enters from the bottom of the helmet. I didn't need to use it with the hjc, not even in winter. Good visibility and the air vents on the forehead are good, I didn't notice a difference whether they were open or closed on the chin. These observations were made in the spring, I don't know if it will meet my expectations in the summer. It's not worth buying even at 300€

  I don't know if this helmet can be considered value for money, but it is definitely a satisfactory and quality helmet. I bought it after trying its predecessor (NXR) in medium size and it was too tight. So, taking a risk, I ordered the NXR-2 in Large. In the end, it fits me very well (not too tight, not too loose, just right).
  ●I use it on a sport touring motorcycle with a tall windscreen and up to speeds of 140-150 km/h, the noise is not bothersome. However, since it is considered a helmet for sport motorcycles where speeds are much higher, I don't think its aerodynamic design is the best. It is simply good!
  ●The ventilation, however, does a good job in the summer (I feel the air entering my head and cooling me down), BUT like all helmets, the noise increases when all the vents are open. I also noticed that during the winter months, the chin curtain provides good insulation, both in terms of cold and noise.
  ●The included Pinlock is necessary for the winter months and it does its job perfectly.
  ●Although it's my first time using a Double D-ring closure, I have gotten used to it and now I can do it with one hand while on the move.
  ●I have also added an intercom, as shown in the photos, which fits very well in the intercom slot and has enough space for cables inside the helmet.
  ●The visor doesn't go in and out as easily as in other helmets, but once you figure it out, it's fine. Opening the visor from the center instead of the left side has been incredibly convenient.
  ●Lastly, the most important aspect is the price. I believe that for those who don't care about graphics and choose a solid color, it's a very good deal to save 80-100€.
  ●I shouldn't forget to mention the new Dot 22.06 certification, which makes it a very safe helmet "with the stamp of approval."
  *My advice is to try it on if possible before purchasing it online.
  **One last thing, the helmet is for your HEAD, not your elbow

The outside temperature was 25 degrees and I wondered if the vents were working even though I had them all open. My head was sweating. Measured for a medium size, the fit was very tight.   After a year and a half of use and having traveled several thousand kilometers wearing the NXR2, I can say that overall it is a very good helmet. The quality of the materials is very good (the chin strap could be of higher quality). What I liked the most is the fit on the head (it was the difference compared to many other helmets when I first wore it), the very good ventilation it has, the very good field of vision it offers, and especially the fact that even after hours of riding, it doesn't tire you (it doesn't press on the head). Regarding stability, indeed the helmet is very stable even at high speeds, but when riding a motorcycle without a windscreen, you can't avoid the air turbulence. When you find yourself in on-off or sport touring mode, you can't escape the air turbulence (no helmet can save you from that). Where I would expect a little better performance from this particular helmet is the noise that reaches the rider's ears. Noise from the air at high speeds is expected with all helmets, but a helmet that starts at a price of 450 euros should not be significantly noisier than my previous HJC helmet, which was valued at around 250 euros (without meaning that the noise is unbearable, but it tires you when driving for hours on the highway)

  This is the worst helmet I've ever had. Terrible noise (whistling), I honestly can't understand how they praise it.   Coming from a 350€ AGV helmet. Guys, this helmet is amazing. Perfect fit on the head, excellent visibility, super lightweight since I got the Small size (1250gr), and beautiful. I got the Arcane TC10. You can immediately feel the quality. CRAZY GOOD!!!!!

  As for the negatives, it produces a bit of noise, but not annoyingly so, and it's nothing compared to the AGV I had. It's actually much quieter than the AGV. I also added a communication system on it and everything is working fine.
