I don't know if I got a defective one or if this is how the phone is, but it started to dangerously overheat when I tried to transfer data from my previous phone, to the point that I stopped the process because I was afraid it would catch fire. Its speaker is terrible and it echoes on speakerphone, and I couldn't have a conversation, as well as the camera is frankly ATROCIOUS, while in video recording the sound is ahead of the image. Overall, it behaves like a phone worth much less than €100 and not a phone worth €400. Fortunately, the purchase was made through Skroutz and they accepted the return immediately....
It has a bug with the quick tap gesture, the fingerprint scanner is terrible (it only recognizes the finger of my left hand) and it's slow, it overheats a lot during access point sharing, when playing videos (less so), and in games it burns the fingers
I have been a Sony user for years. The pixel 7 is a very satisfactory phone, fast, easy, and with a clean Android that adapts to the user.
The reason I bought it is for the camera, which is good, but in my opinion, the photos look better mainly after editing, which has many possibilities. I would have liked it to have a macro function like the pro.
One issue I immediately felt is the overheating in a cool room, without pushing it. Even during adaptive charging without using it, it heats up. Nothing terrible or dangerous, but it surprised me because I had never experienced it on a phone before. With the case, I don't notice it as much. It may have been specific to this one, but I read about many others with the same issue.
The original price, again in my opinion, could have been €100 lower.
For its price, it's great at 450€ (265gb) with the s24 approaching 600-650, maybe I would have changed it but then it was 750 and the pixel 8 pro was on the list but even that hadn't dropped below 800€
Excellent mobile phone, very fast, incredible photos and videos. There is no better camera phone at this price. According to dowxmark, it is ranked 26th with the best camera in the world. The only negative is that in the Zimbabwe of Europe (Greece) the e-sim does not work with any network because they do not cooperate with Google. So unfortunately I had to have a second mobile phone for the other sim card.
So, first time owning a Pixel phone, after 5 years with the most successful Huawei phone, the Mate 20 Pro, which only needed a battery replacement. But I decided to replace it because the updates stopped in 2019 and it had Android 10, so sooner or later its problems would start appearing.
Let's start with the negatives:
A) Compared to the slim design with the curved screen of the Mate 20 Pro and previously the S9 that I had, now I'm trying to get used to the size and weight (which, in general, are smaller compared to most phones on the market, but I also added extra weight with a Spigen case).
B) The Mate 20 Pro has a better resolution screen (1440x3120 WQHD+, 538 ppi) compared to the Pixel (1080x2400 FHD+, 418 ppi), and the truth is that the difference is noticeable in both resolution and brightness.
C) The package does not include a charger, only a charging cable.
Now let's move on to the positives:
A) The camera and video quality are truly among the best available on the market, without having to spend a fortune.
B) The battery easily lasts a day, but the more you use the phone, the faster it drains.
C) The speaker is very loud and of good quality, something that was lacking in the Mate 20 Pro.
D) 5G and call quality are all good with Vodafone, and the speaker is so loud that I have to lower the volume because it feels like the speaker is on.
In summary, in terms of performance, I didn't see a huge difference compared to the Mate 20 Pro, which is a phone from 2018 and has a 7nm chip compared to the Pixel's 4nm chip. Another important reason why I chose the Pixel 7 is the stock Android and support for updates for 7 years. I also watched many reviews and considered that it wasn't worth spending an extra 200€ to buy the Pixel 8 for minimal differences in cameras and performance. For the price I paid, 350€ with a receipt, it's a good value for money.
Incredible in photos and videos are quite satisfactory. Performance is not enough for gamers playing demanding games. The battery will last for 1 day but not longer, and if data is used continuously, it runs out faster. I have nothing to say about the software, it is stock android, the best on the market in my opinion. The only negative is the charging time, which lasts 1:30 hours with 22.5w.
Very good construction and generally a beautiful package for its price that can be compared to flagship phones in all categories except for the zoom on the camera.
The esim from Vodafone works normally.
The only "negative" is that it does not support the voWifi service in Greece due to the providers.

Having several android devices as well as an iPhone, I decided to try the Pixel series. For this reason alone, I bought the Pixel 7 with the condition to sell it if it doesn't work for me for some reason. So far, I am very satisfied, the phone takes photos comparable to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, but lags behind in video, as everyone knows that no one can match the quality of iPhones in video. The screen is somewhat inferior compared to super AMOLED and LTPO devices, but it doesn't bother me. The battery is good for now as it learns and I learn. Simple and clean Android without the bloatware of other devices. Good and powerful speaker, clear calls, and now 5G and VoLTE with Vodafone without any conversions. Unfortunately, it doesn't have wifi calling (for now) but it doesn't bother me as I didn't use it on other devices either. The processor is powerful without any crashes or delays. In short, I am absolutely satisfied for the money it was purchased and the only thing for sure is that it is worth a try and an opportunity.
Coming from an iPhone 7 (and years of sticking with Apple), I later discovered that I have an issue with the number 7. Before delving into the details, let me summarize that I am satisfied with the transition from one ecosystem to another, only to have this issue arise. I did not purchase it in Greece, as I currently consider the price here to be high compared to the risk one takes in buying a device that is not made for a sunny country. However, I believe that I ultimately came out as a winner. During the initial setup, I discovered that I had signed up for the Google beta program at some point, and I am still receiving beta updates every month (you say yes to something in Google and a few years later you realize you went to war for it). However, so far, there haven't been many bugs. When I received it three months ago, it required Sizuku and Pixel IMS services for basic features (volte, 5g, etc.), but now, after three beta releases, they work on their own in Nova. In the beginning, it did some strange things, but I didn't complain because it performed relatively well in basic functions like internet browsing. However, it grows with you. Strange sounds during calls became crystal-clear HD calls, and frozen screens during lock screen resets turned into animated Google Earth backgrounds without any lag. The assistant, now Gemini, responds better (confirmed test) than the GPT chat. And when I say the assistant is Gemini, it truly is. You open the assistant with "Ok Google" or a swipe, and you instantly open the AI (the future is here). And here is my only objection to Google compared to Apple, and probably every other tech company. You feel like they tell you to finish this project and then we'll relax a bit, and they do. On the other hand, Google gives you the feeling that they never finish it. They work like laborers in a factory where every day is a new beginning, creating something related to the previous but also new. AI together with the assistant, but also separately. Every month, something changes, but not definitively. Now my phone works exactly as I want it to, and even a little more. If you are enthusiastic about technology, Google will provide it to you abundantly. Photos as you like them, a good screen, decent battery life (coming from an iPhone 7, which easily lasts me a day), and smooth software operation comparable to Apple for my usage (probably a little more advanced). I would also like to emphasize that I happened to have a Nest Hub, Android TV, and Home Mini, and I can confirm that with 800-900€, you can have the best technology that monitors you and sends you notifications that it is doing so (although you can't say it doesn't care). Finally, for me, what sets it apart, and if you don't keep it, it is not perceived from the photos, is the build quality... metal with glass... for real... Enough said (and a little more).
I come from the redmi note 12 pro, I wanted the pixel 8 pro or the pixel 8 but they are expensive.. I decided to get the 7 to experience the pixel phone since I have the pixel watch 2. I didn't expect to be so impressed, the whole experience of pure android and a system that is designed to help and learn from you is something new for me. I would highly recommend it. The only thing, not "negative" but "not so positive" is its battery, but it charges faster than I expected, and I find time during the day to charge it, so I have never run out.
Excellent device, at an amazing price now. The camera really doesn't lack anywhere, except in videos with very low light. Otherwise, it's a sturdy minimal device, without the flashy exaggerations of the Chinese. Battery and performance are flawless, and now it also has 5G and VoLTE. For me, it's the ultimate value for money.
The Pixel 7 now I think deserves 5 stars. After the latest update it received, the 5G was activated normally. The phone is comfortably comparable to other flagships in all areas, with special distinction for me in camera and image processing, but also in sound especially with Bluetooth headphones (great improvement compared to the Mi 10 I had before). Calls work flawlessly so far. The software, I think as others have said, is quite simple and at the same time complex for those who deal with it, with features that I have not encountered in a smartphone before, such as AI optimizations. The only thing missing now is technical support and the full features and services available in other countries.
We wanted to get a mobile phone with my wife, but we are both annoyed by the Apple craze. So we got 2 phones, a Samsung S23 and the Pixel 7. My wife took the S23 and I kept the Pixel. I am extremely excited about the quality of the phone. Google has done many great things with the device, and even though it doesn't have the best specs compared to the other 2 flagships, it stands up to them and looks them in the eye. Recently, we placed the S23, the Pixel, and an iPhone 14 Pro side by side for a landscape photo, and the Pixel outperformed both of them. It hasn't lagged anywhere, I use it for work (Outlook, Teams, Excel) without any problems. From what I have read, the differences between this and the Pixel 8 are not huge. If it is significantly cheaper, I highly recommend the 7 without hesitation.
I have had it for 6 months, I am satisfied but not impressed. Simple clean (android) software, which is probably the main reason to buy it. The second reason is the cameras and yes! it has done a great job. From the main to the selfie, the photos are excellent (on par with the corresponding iPhone Pro. In this case, only from the 14 Pro and above do you get equivalent main). Video has a tremendous improvement but it's not an iPhone. The build is a step above the 6, more elegant, more refined, and generally has matured. It is recognizable but not as striking as the 6. It also sits better in the hand (I believe the 8 will be ideal). 5G, Wi-Fi calling, and VoLTE are now available without Root?! Finally, performance... it's not for gamers. It can run everything but I don't see the performance I would like from the Pixels now that they have their own processor, etc. Specifically, I have tried every Pixel from 4a onwards and none had the performance that would make a significant difference compared to the 4a which had SD7** let's say. Yes, it has other improvements in ML and AI as well as GPU but just like the earlier Pixels were a pleasant surprise every time I opened them, I would expect the software to be even more refined to "run" better on the Tensor. However, this is not (yet) true. I would like to see at least Google's applications respond better on a Tensor than on a Snapdragon. I hope the fanboys don't misunderstand me :) So for the price of 550-600, it is a very good choice. I will return with more details shortly :)
Very good mobile phone with good battery and good sound quality on calls, and very good operating system. Check reviews and you will understand. It has some disadvantages such as not being able to talk and be on the internet at the same time.
The photos are below average, with the Poco X3 and Samsung A53 I took much better photos. I chose this phone solely for its camera lens, but it is a big disappointment.
The battery is not as terrible as the Samsung A53, but it is not as good as the Poco and Redmi.
I have read about connectivity issues, personally I don't know, in the 3 months I haven't encountered anything drastic. I suppose the provider, which is Cosmote (it is a disaster in many things and expensive, but in phone communication it is okay, even with the pixel), plays a role.
One positive thing it has as a phone is stock Android, but that's about it. So if you are willing to spend 600 euros on a phone, don't waste it on the pixel, you will regret your money.
Very fast. However, it takes mediocre photos for its price. Cheaper phones take better photos. However, its huge problem is overheating to the point where I can't hold it in my hand, something I have never encountered in a phone before.
I have been using Google phones since 2018, starting with the Pixel XL, then the Pixel 4a, and a month ago I got the Pixel 7. They are aimed at users who focus on pure functionality and want to experience the ultimate Android experience, always having the latest features. But let's get to the point:
I believe that the Pixel 7 series is a worthy upgrade from Google and offers a powerful package. The size of the phone is ideal, neither too small nor too big. It has a sturdy construction with a premium feel. The 90Hz screen is quite smooth, with decent brightness at all times of the day, natural colors, and covers the average user in all conditions. Browsing is very fast in all applications, runs smoothly, and I haven't noticed any lag. The sound is decent, the speakers are designed not to be easily covered. They produce clear and powerful sound, personally I don't need to turn them up to the maximum volume often, and obviously they don't belong to the audiophile category. I would say that they will satisfy the average user and more. Additionally, excellent work has been done on photography and video. Since the beginning of the development of the Google camera, the company has focused a lot on upgrades and the result is exceptional. Knowing the capabilities of the camera already, the result was expected for me, but someone who has not used a Google device before will definitely be impressed.
Charging is at a maximum of 30W, based on competition, one would not say that it has very fast charging. However, I do not consider it a coincidence that the company chooses to keep the charging speed low. Apple does it too, and the reason is purely a balance between usability and battery health over time. It is known that high wattage increases temperatures in the battery and gradually reduces its health. The battery is satisfactory, easily lasting a full day with heavy use. Because there is an algorithm that "reads" usage and optimizes consumption, give it a few days to learn your habits and adapt. It is encouraging that Google is working on it with updates, I have already noticed a difference for the better and optimistic opinions are heard about Android 14, which will come stable in August.
Let's talk about the much-discussed topic of network: although the device supports 5G and all the features that come with it (VoLTE and WiFi Calling), Greek providers do not currently support 5G coverage on Google devices because they are not officially imported and supported by any representative in Greece. Many users have reported missed calls and low network coverage in certain areas. Having read enough, I have concluded that there is no coverage issue in major cities. Personally, I have never had a problem with calls and LTE adequately covers all my needs. However, the provider that the user belongs to also plays a role. The best solution for now is with COSMOTE, which is the only one that officially provides VoLTE. With intervention in the ROM of the operating system, one can activate 5G and WiFi calling, but I have not dealt with it.
Overall, it is a very good and reliable device. Among all the Pixels I have had, none presented any problems and they worked flawlessly until the last day of use. It is still very smart and has many features that make it competitive in the market. Anyone considering the 7 Pro, in my opinion, is worth it only for the better screen, telephoto lens, and slightly better battery. As for the 7a, although it is more modern, it is slightly inferior.
I stand out:
1. The camera and its capabilities exceed expectations compared to most phones in this budget.
2. The user experience and excellent connectivity with all Google apps and features. It is the cleanest option in the Android camp, and Google promises at least 3 years of operating system upgrades and at least 5 years of security updates from the 6 series onwards.
3. Google Assistant. It is proven to be the most advanced and accurate assistant compared to Siri (Apple), Bixby (Samsung), and Alexa (Amazon).
4. The construction and design. It is a sturdy and beautiful phone, and the arrangement of the lenses on the back is unique in the market.
I don't stand out:
1. The fingerprint sensor. Although it has improved, it doesn't always work, and sometimes it is annoying. There is also the option of face unlock, but it still needs some work.
2. The battery. It is not a problem, but it could have a slightly larger capacity. We hope for software updates.
3. The price. For the range of 400 - 500 euros, it is an excellent choice, but at 600+ euros, which is the price in Greece, you will consider other devices.
+ Some additional tips:
For a charger, I recommend Anker's Nano Pro III at 30W.
For cases, I use the Spigen Liquid Air, which is very durable for a budget option. If you are looking for something more premium, the Bellroy case is perhaps the most attractive choice.

Very mediocre phone, especially in terms of autonomy and camera quality, especially at night with artificial light sources resulting in very mediocre results with a lot of flare, making the photos useless. This is unacceptable for a Pixel.
The video quality, especially at night, is simply tragic, even compared to a Redmi Note 12 of similar quality. The 5G is not even worth mentioning, as it is well-known. The device's AI does not work in Greece, and VOLTE, etc. only work with COSMOTE or Shizokou for other providers.
Overall, a disappointment for me.
I mainly bought it because of the hype around the camera.
I wouldn't say I was very satisfied.
The camera oversharpenes the photos and they don't look natural.
The GoPro Hero 9 I have for videos is much better.
Until now, I had Xiaomi phones for 350 euros or more.
The battery can't compare to the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite I had, neither in duration nor in charging time.
I had no issues with calls, etc.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.
One of, if not the best mobile phone of 2022 and 2023. It has half the price of other flagship companies (e.g. Apple, Samsung) and has exactly the same or even better features. With only 2 cameras, it manages to capture incredible detail with the best quality I have seen. Its speed is one of the best, and although it may not be the best in specs, the software saves it. As for the 5G that everyone is complaining about, I'll tell you my personal opinion: better. Because we've had enough of 5G and it doesn't change anything in terms of speed or calls. That's all from me, I recommend it with closed eyes. Here are some sample photos.
A fairly fast mobile phone, with a very good screen, with a battery that charges slowly but lasts the day with normal use, is a must-have mobile phone.
Given that prices for mobile phones have gone up, especially in Greece, a good offer is worth the money for a Google Pixel. Generally, it does what a Google Pixel promises. There are no issues with gaming, except that it heats up quite a bit compared to previous generations of mobile phones. The only thing I want to emphasize is that it is not a small phone. One can easily be deceived since there is a PRO model as a large phone, but even the "small" one is not small at all. It is also quite thick and heavy compared to mobile phones with more inches from 2020 and back. I am a former owner of a OnePlus 7T, so the comparison is made with that. Also, the speakers sometimes do not sound very loud, which seems like more of a software issue.
It's time to evaluate my favorite Android and possibly the best on the market for me.
Processor: The Google Tensor G2 is perhaps the best Android on the market right now. It doesn't surpass the A15-16 Bionic of the iPhone, but it's lightning fast and incredibly helpful for photos, multitasking, and heavy usage.
2) Cameras: Impressive, maybe the best after the S23 Ultra. I have nothing to comment on the quality of the photos, which have good resolution and colors/lighting. Videos could be better, but it's still a good flagship.
3) Screen: It's a screen that's on par with the regular S22, with beautiful colors, but not necessarily the selling point. Overall, it's great.
4) Battery: I don't believe it lasts 72 hours as advertised. You'll still need to charge it normally at night like all devices. However, it does support fast charging. You'll be good to go in 1-1.5 hours.
But: The sound is perhaps the best on an Android phone. The fingerprint and Face ID are highly reliable. I don't trust Android fingerprint technology, but this one is pioneering. Overall, security isn't great on any Android phone. Give me any Android phone with a code, and I'll have it open in 2 minutes. In comparison, iPhones from the 10 and up are unbreakable and generally cost the price of a new one to unlock.
I won't talk about the technologies since I don't think anyone cares. For example, there's a feature where you can approach your car with your phone and it unlocks automatically. I don't want that.
Lastly, and most importantly, the device isn't officially available in Greece, which means some providers don't support it yet (e.g., Vodafone). In some specific areas, the signal may cut out, and you won't have calls or internet during those times.
The device comes with a SIM ejector tool, a fast charging adapter, and a USB-C to USB-C cable.

I can't write much because I switched from Pixel 2 xl to 7. It's true that it was hard to let go of the 2. Pixel phones are so good that you don't need to change phones again.
Note that I don't play games at all, so I have no idea if it's good or not in that aspect.
Other than that, I do everything from my phone. I don't even have a computer.
I have had the phone for 4 months now. It has not let me down, even in Greece where 5G does not work. However, there is a way to activate VoLTE and VoWiFi without rooting it. I highly recommend it. The software is incredible and the cameras are out of this world. The photos you see from other users are truly from the phone, and even professional photographers have said that the photos I took with the phone were the best they have seen from a mobile device. The only issue is the battery, which lasts about a day. If I use the phone heavily, I may need a power bank. I have had no issues with calls and LTE, and I also use Nova launcher, so you can understand that there are no glitches. I have truly enjoyed it and I believe anyone who has it will say the same.
Owner of the mobile phone for 5 days now. I will mention what interests most people who are considering buying it: I am on the Vodafone network, no missed calls, call quality is very good, VoLTE works normally, the battery easily lasts the whole day (without playing games, but of course these days I haven't let go of it from my hands in order to explore all its functions), and the photos..as known, excellent!
As a mobile phone, it's wonderful. Personally, I don't care about Volte and 5g. However, it often drops calls. I don't know if it has to do with the e-sim I put in or not, and the truth is that at least right now I don't have time to deal with the issue. I hope it will be fixed in the future.
The battery is satisfactory, it lasts a day of normal use (meaning if you're not on the phone all day it will last until bedtime). The cameras are amazing, no glitches, frequent updates and quality construction. The screen is good with nice colors and the speakers are quality although I would like them slightly louder.
It definitely has its problems (due to lack of support from Google in Greece) but it also has its charm.
