I bought it last year on Black Friday. It doesn't pick up as well as I thought. If any small stones come into the house from shoes, it doesn't suck them in and just throws them out the back of the vacuum. I have kids and unfortunately, it doesn't clean completely well. The reason I bought it was because it was convenient for me to vacuum compared to the conventional vacuum, since my wrist hurts a lot and I can't keep pulling the cord of the conventional one and constantly plugging and unplugging it.
After 2 uses, I can say that it does an amazing job, especially if there is a pet in the house... it completely cleans the hair from carpets, sofas, etc.... the results are visible at the end of the vacuuming! The only downside is the battery life... in a 50 sqm house, it barely lasted for us to vacuum the floor, carpets, sofa, and chairs.
It is good and quite powerful for a stick, the only negative for me is the lighting on the sole which is very low to almost non-existent, you can hardly see at all. Unacceptable because one of the reasons I chose it was the lighting on the sole
If someone has the luxury to spend so much money on a vacuum cleaner (I bought it for 360 euros), really DO NOT buy it! I don't even have time for it and every now and then it constantly has problems, from the first month even. Emptying the hair compartment is tiring and hair collects in places it shouldn't, causing the brush not to rotate. We tried to remove them with tweezers and unscrew it with a screwdriver. The quality of the materials is not that good, especially for those who have experience with Dyson. Also, the attachment for the sofa is fake and collects dust, which sticks to it when it shouldn't. It struggles to clean thick carpets. The only advantage is its ability to break in the middle for cleaning low areas.
Over time, the motor of the rotating brush completely broke, and we decided to buy the Dyson V8 Absolute for the same price. It is truly day and night, and I regret not buying it from the beginning and experimenting with the Rowenta.
