Real value for money. Very good image quality in outdoor spaces, both day and night (either with the infrared or with the projector). Additionally, the intercom function works flawlessly. The panel, although small, performs very well if placed correctly and includes a 5-meter extension cable with a waterproof connection.
For those who want to use it with a memory card, it supports microSD up to 128 GB.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The camera is the worst thing I have ever bought, a waste of the money I spent. The radar it has is extremely slow, resulting in not capturing who is coming and only opening when they are already inside the house. (I should note that the camera is in front of the entrance) Especially at night, it's even worse. I set it to record for 24 hours and the panel doesn't even charge it halfway. I've had it for 2-3 months now and it doesn't record anything anymore, not even slowly. We go in and out all day and the camera hasn't captured anything.
- The installation regarding the software and the connection to the wifi as well as the wall mounting for both the camera and the solar panel is easy; personally, I did not encounter any problems.
- The camera can be charged once and used without the panel, and the battery seems to drain relatively slowly as it consumes energy only when the motion sensor activates it; personally, I have connected the panel and it is permanently at 100%.
- It has an option for color capture as well as for night capture (rendering in shades of gray that does not affect the result of what you see regardless of whether it is bright or dark at the location where you have placed it). In color capture, the lens lights up at the "ears," which is quite bright for dark hours.
- You can rotate the camera horizontally and vertically through the app, as well as adjust the speed at which it rotates (slow, medium, fast); it has digital zoom. Depending on how you hang it (ceiling, vertically on the wall, floor (?)), you can change the way the image reaches you through the app with the image flip option.
- It has a microphone so you can choose to listen to what is happening in the area where the camera is located, as well as a speaker so you can choose to be heard (you can choose to be heard with distortion of your voice if you wish). Finally, it has a siren option; every time the camera is activated by the sensor, it is relatively loud (personally, I have it turned off).
- The image in HD resolution looks okay.
- You can insert a storage card, and every time the sensor activates it, it automatically records to the card. It also has the option for cloud recording (€38 for 360 days, €20 for 180, and €4 for 30 days, as it keeps a record for the last 30 days of recordings). You can choose to record while watching from your mobile, and the file is saved directly to your mobile.
- The camera's motion sensor is "thermal," detecting motion and activating the camera ONLY from humans and animals (tested). Once it detects motion, it takes about 3 seconds to send a notification to the mobile (personally, I have an iPhone); of course, the quality of the camera's signal with the router plays a role (for me, it is around 70%) and conversely, how good the signal is on your mobile.
- You can share the camera to choose who else you want to monitor from their mobile.
- You can choose not to receive notifications or not to activate it in case you are in the camera's field.
- It has the option to activate a blue LED under the lens to be visible at night, which lights up only when the camera is capturing an image.
The construction quality is quite good and the installation is easy. The panel seems to do a good job as it charges the batteries very quickly. The image quality is satisfactory. The drawbacks include the absence of certain options in the Ubox application on the iPhone, such as not being able to change the notification sound, so if this specific ringing is activated regularly, it becomes annoying. Every time you check (without detecting movement), it starts recording automatically on the card and if you press the video or photo button, it writes directly to the mobile. The sound (and microphone) is below average. Also, you can only have the image on your mobile through the application and not on a computer.
Excellent camera for its price, VFM in every sense. Plug n play comfortable, app also, battery that lasts even with minimal sunlight, I highly recommend it without reservation.
An external camera with unlimited battery. Used for about 7 months outdoors without any problems. Image clarity is very good.
I bought a second one.
30 days without the solar panel, the battery in the middle. Incredible management.
