The Asus Rog Strix B760-F Gaming WIFI motherboard is aimed at content creators, gamers, and demanding users who seek high performance and advanced features from a motherboard. It is designed to support the latest Intel processors, specifically the 12th and 13th generation series (Alder Lake and Raptor Lake), and offers high performance in applications and games.
The Asus Rog Strix B760-F Gaming WIFI features a wide range of characteristics, such as several expansion slots, multiple USB and SATA ports, built-in Wi-Fi 6E wireless network, built-in high-quality audio, and additional features like RGB lighting, advanced overclocking capabilities, and advanced cooling capabilities. Additionally, it offers reliable performance and operational stability for enhanced enjoyment of gaming and multimedia.
Power Architecture
16 + 1 power stages, each rated at 60A, provide ample current to drive the most powerful 13th Gen Intel processors with ease under any workload.
Alloy Chokes and Durable Capacitors
High-quality chokes and durable capacitors are designed to withstand extreme temperatures, allowing performance that exceeds industry standards.
6-Layer PCB
A multi-layer printed circuit board design quickly dissipates heat around the voltage regulators to improve overall system stability.
DDR5 Memory
ROG has a long tradition of providing the fastest memory performance, and DDR5 is no exception. Thanks to improved signal routing, enthusiast kits have now far surpassed 7 GT/s on the Strix B760-F, and who knows how far future DIMMs can go? Experienced users can test their limits by playing with the extensive range of tuning options in the UEFI.
AEMP II
The ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) is an exclusive hardware and firmware solution for overclocking generic memory modules. The second version of AEMP allows for automatic tuning of kits during system startup and leverages the PCB trace optimizations of the Strix B760-F to push frequencies to higher levels than ever before. AEMP II can even overclock mixed kits in a four-DIMM configuration while the extensive support library now extends to nearly every DDR5 module that lacks XMP support.
VRM Cooling
The power supply is covered by two thick heatsinks with strategic airflow channels for increased heat dissipation when powering high-performance 13th generation Intel processors.
M.2 Cooling
The heatsinks cover every slot to keep the built-in NVME SSDs at optimal temperatures for consistent performance and reliability.
Processor Cooling
Placed near the top of the motherboard, a pair of PWM/DC fan headers provide easy access for CPU coolers.
A dedicated PWM/DC header connects standalone water cooling setups.
Case Cooling
The Strix B760-F features four chassis fan headers, each of which supports automatic detection of PWM or DC fans.
The exceptionally smooth networking, extensive USB bandwidth, and immersive audio all together give the ROG Strix B760-F a powerful connectivity package.
PCIe Performance
The x16 expansion slot is future-ready with incredible PCIe 5.0 bandwidth, protected with a SafeSlot retention bracket to support most of the latest graphics cards.
Convenient storage options abound with three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, which feature robust heatsinks to maximize performance.
Networking
The built-in WiFi 6E technology leverages the new available spectrum in the 6 GHz band to provide up to seven 160 MHz channels for ultra-fast performance and better performance in dense wireless environments.
The antenna features two integrated transmitters and receivers to enable faster transmission speeds and supports the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands.
Low-latency gaming, fast file transfers, and high-resolution video streaming are among the many advantages of the built-in Intel 2.5 Gbps Ethernet.
USB
The Strix B760-F features multiple high-speed USB options. All rear input/output ports are compatible with USB 3.2, with the fastest being a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C® port for data transfers up to 20 Gbps.
A case port can also receive turbo processing through the front USB Gen 3.2 Gen 2 connector.
ROG SupremeFX
The ROG SupremeFX is a unique combination of hardware and software technologies that provide superior sound. The implementation of the Strix B760-F features the ALC4080 codec for high-resolution playback up to 32-bit/384 kHz on all channels.
The front output is transmitted through the built-in Savitech amplifier, which can drive high-fidelity audio to a wide variety of speakers and headphones.
Staying true to its roots, the Strix B760-F is proudly adorned with references to games of the past. The scattered stickers create a techno-retro fusion backdrop interrupted by vibrant highlights and a signature illuminated ROG logo on the I/O cover.
Aura Sync
ROG Strix motherboards feature ASUS Aura technology, which allows full control of lighting and a variety of presets for both the built-in RGB LEDs and third-party accessories. The effects can easily be synchronized with compatible ROG graphics cards, monitors, keyboards, and mice to give your setup a unified look.
Armoury Crate
Armoury Crate is a software utility designed to provide you with centralized control of supported gaming products, making it easier to set up the appearance and atmosphere of your system. From a single intuitive interface, Armoury Crate helps you customize RGB lighting and effects for compatible devices and sync them with Aura Sync to create a unified lighting system throughout your setup. Additionally, Armoury Crate's Fan Xpert4 tool offers comprehensive control over fans, water pumps, and all-in-one (AIO) coolers.
You can use Armoury Crate to download drivers, tools, and user manuals, as well as to register products. It also features a dedicated news feed that connects you to ASUS's global gaming community.

I am the owner of this specific motherboard for a month now, with an i7-14700K setup, 32GB DDR5 at 6000, and I am fully satisfied. I love the button it has on the PCI to remove the graphics card if needed. Also, nice connectivity options, they fit well with the Asus TUF GT502 case
Very good motherboard, although it's the first day, I'm sharing the following to help some people.
In my case, it required a BIOS update to work with the i5-13600KF. The process is very simple, as it is done with the computer turned off, by inserting the USB into the special port at the back. You can find instructions here (you will need a second Windows computer):
Also, during the Windows 11 setup, it did not recognize either the LAN cable or the WiFi. Therefore, I followed the steps below so that it wouldn't ask for an internet connection. Once the installation was complete and the PC was turned on, it automatically set up the LAN-WiFi-Bluetooth drivers. Link here:
Although the box arrived almost destroyed, the motherboard seems to be working well so far. It has nice software for adjusting settings, RGB, etc., which is light years better than MSI's.
I have had the motherboard for less than a month and so far everything is good. I paired it with an Intel Core i7-13700 processor with integrated graphics, so I can play some games until I get a separate graphics card. I installed it in a Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB Gaming Midi Tower case and added a Corsair iCUE H100I ELITE RGB CAPELLIX XT CPU Liquid Cooler 240MM (which has 2 fans). The case came with 3 fans and the liquid cooler had 2 fans, and I bought an additional fan. I chose the Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GB DDR5 RAM with 2 Modules (2x16GB) and a speed of 6000 for the desktop. For storage, I chose the Samsung 980 Pro SSD 1TB M.2 NVMe PCI Express 4.0. The power supply is the Corsair RMx Series RM850x (2021) 850W Full Modular 80 Plus Gold.
It is important to mention that the entire system is quiet and the temperatures remain low on the processor and motherboard, perhaps because I am not currently using a separate graphics card.
The motherboard has its own software where you can see the most important things through Windows (temperatures, etc.). I hope I helped.
