If you play it with friends and you like it, just get it, simple rules, very nice scenarios, and fun

An expansion that breathes new life into the original game without changing its core mechanics. The presence of the islands is a very beautiful addition that expands the map of Catan and the possibilities for each player. The rules are very easy to learn as the game adds to, rather than changes, anything from the original. I highly recommend it!

I thought I knew Catan, but I actually didn't. With this expansion, it becomes a much better game than it was. Much more depth, missions, and interest. It's definitely worth it. The only negative thing was that the tiles have a different height from the base box (both from the base game and the expansion), so we had to add stickers to make them the same height as the expansion ones. Minor though, because it makes the game much better.

CATAN, if you haven't enjoyed the base package (game time), this will make it last much longer with new elements in the game.

It is a nice game, but you need to have the first one (the red one) in order to play it, otherwise it is not supported on its own!! However, this is not written anywhere for us to know.!!

Very nice variation of the classic Katana. It takes a while to set it up because you also use pieces from the original game, but it's worth it. The rules are similar to those of the classic game except for the last scenario-variation. I recommend it.

The sailors are great, once you get it, you don't easily go back to the regular version. The game becomes more interesting, the map expands, and the competition possibilities increase. While in the regular version with 4 people, some will quickly get trapped and won't be able to expand, and the game ends faster and becomes somewhat unfair. These players keep planting until the luckiest ones win. This doesn't happen when you have such a large map. It counts a lot. And then knights for the next track, ultimate addiction.
