It fits two regular-sized sandwiches (just barely, but it fits them perfectly), it toasts quickly and evenly, and it doesn't flatten the sandwiches, which remain crispy. What else can one ask for at this price, as long as it withstands the test of time. I do use it lightly, making 1-2 sandwiches 5 times a week. It is definitely worth its money.
