BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material derived from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). This sap is processed to produce latex - a durable, elastic, and soft material that has a texture similar to that of the mother’s breast.

• The nipple is made from 100% natural latex.

Cleaning and disinfecting the pacifier: Good hygiene of the pacifier includes frequent cleaning. The smaller the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be disinfected.

Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be disinfected in the microwave, steam, UV sterilizer, or disinfection solution.

Disinfecting the pacifier involves 3 simple steps:

• Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
• Pour hot water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes.
• Remove the pacifier onto a clean paper and let it dry.

If water has entered the nipple (through its valve), use the paper to press the nipple until the water is expelled.
