Fantastic main story, the worst side quests. Still worth it, but if you want to get A LOT of the best items, you have to do the side quests. I swear there is NOT A SINGLE side quest that gives anything important lore-wise that you can't read later in the lore gathering NPC that the game has, so skip ALL the cutscenes in the side quests from the start to save time.
Other than that, it is a very well-crafted game, with a lot of attention and many aids for the average player who doesn't have infinite time at their disposal and takes long breaks between their sessions. It has a mechanic that allows you to read details about the lore presented in each scene while watching cutscenes, and it also has another mechanic that lets you return to any major story moment in the game and replay it, either for a missed collectible, for a missed trophy, or just for fun.
It is a powerful title with a nice plot that drags on in some points with indifferent quests, fortunately they don't last long though. In combat, it is very close to Devil May Cry, giving it an epic feel in several moments. Overall, I easily recommend it, especially now that its price has dropped
The best thing I have ever played, I entered the history of the game, I have no words, just excitement, revenge, I felt everything as if I was in the game, a solid 10 from me, it's worth its money
Unfortunately, it is a very mediocre game with a relatively decent story (there is no virgin birth anywhere guys, don't make comparisons) and good graphics in specific points to emphasize, not universally. If I dare to compare it with other action games of this generation, with other RPGs of this generation and even more so, with older titles of this legendary series... I might even give it a 5.
It seems like an amazing game, I just started it and it has perfect graphics, music, dialogues, everything is wonderful, well done
Guys, the game is a purebred 9/10. It has a lot of passion, a lot of details, music, graphics, etc. It's extremely well done. It's the first time I play an FF game and it doesn't have that silly Japanese vibe. It's more mature, like a mix of Game of Thrones and Final Fantasy Tactics. I hope this approach to the storyline stays as we grow up... The battles are more action-oriented, like Devil May Cry, not that Persona style with choices. The only thing I felt was a bit easy, but in New Game Plus, you unlock the hard mode
One of the best FF games. The hype was huge with its trailers.
- The battles with the Eikons, our beloved Summons, are by far the best I have ever played in games in general. I have replayed the stages just for the boss fights with the Eikons....!!!!!
- Engaging and interesting story, you become attached to the characters.
- Fantastic performances.
- The gameplay strongly resembles Devil May Cry and I am glad that Square Enix turned it into pure action and not turn-based. Turn-based was innovative for the 90s and 00s, but it has been surpassed.
- Beautiful graphics.
- Amazing soundtrack.
The one star I deducted is divided into two parts and I will explain:
- Boring side quests, they have nothing interesting.
- The RPG elements lack depth.
I haven't played any other FF games, so I can't compare it. I understand that the change in gameplay may alienate hardcore fans. For me personally, this change was the reason I bought it. Now, if someone wants the deep RPG element, like FFVII, it's logical that they won't like it.
Personally, I found it excellent. I rarely care about the characters in a game. Nice story, nice set pieces, well-written characters. I also played it twice to platinum it and I didn't get bored for a moment. Definitely one of the best on PS5 right now!
I love the FF series. NOT, however, the 16th one.
The game in the videos looks extremely captivating. In short, what I didn't like:
-Poor pacing, the main story lasts for 30 hours and 10 of those are cutscenes.
-Uninteresting story with the main influence being Game of Thrones, which obviously falls short.
-Repetitive with bad side quests.
-Boring world with many random encounters.
-Poor performance and mediocre graphics in some parts.
-Music is mediocre to bad compared to previous FF games (except for 2-3 tracks).
-MMORPG elements.
-No party members.
-No elemental damage.
-Boring hack and slash without combos, without challenge.
In the end, I would describe it as a mediocre AAA title that does not respect the name and the FF series.
Nevertheless, someone who is new to the series might find it interesting.

I generally didn't like the Final Fantasy games, but this particular one is EXCEPTIONAL. The music, in particular, is amazing. The gameplay is good but repetitive... and the story seems quite interesting. I consider the battles with the bosses to be the best part.
My first FF! I haven't played any of the series, I don't like these types of games, but luckily there was a demo and I was amazed. I bought it and I'm hooked! Now I will also try the previous ones.
Unbelievable graphics, gameplay, and story. They nailed it!
It's not an exaggeration to call it a truly next-generation game, a showcase of the power of the PS5.
In every scene and battle, you are left with your mouth open. It has big cutscenes and relies heavily on its narrative.
The only flaw in my opinion is the uninteresting side missions.
However, even if you haven't been involved with the franchise, you shouldn't miss out on this one. Truly epic!
The truth is that it is the first Final Fantasy game I have played and I cannot be objective with the title. However, it is the first game that I bought immediately after finishing the demo. I enjoyed the story and the character had background. The battle system is the best and I believe that the game has some epic moments like "accept the truth" and the battles with the dominant. I think you should give the game a chance, it will impress you with its story, graphics, and music
I have always been a big fan of Final Fantasy. This particular one, however, I felt tired of quite quickly for the first time. The story didn't hold me like the others, but I still finished it normally. As for the deluxe edition, I would say it's worth the money 50/50.
Awesome game with a very nice battle system and effects that you really can't get enough of. The story is also very good, as well as the characters (especially Clive). Definitely worth every euro.
Unbelievable game, after FFX the only one that made me feel like this again, I have played them all. Worth every Euro!!
One of the best games of the year! Personally, it was unexpected. I read good comments about the demo and as soon as I tried it, I was sure about what kind of game it would be. This happens once in 10 years!
The quality in the story and narration is exceptional!
The gameplay is also fast and entertaining, even though I am only at 25% of the game (~18 hours). The boss battles are the best I have seen, until the next one.
The only flaw is the ease, if I can say that for this epic. Do not compare it to the Souls games.
Finally, the graphics and sound are easily rated with a 10 and I did not encounter any technical issues.
The game is incredibly good, I bought it 2 days ago and I have to say it's amazing. I'm somewhere in the middle of the game and I have learned how it works. The graphics are very good, although in some parts they are a bit bad. The combat and the story of the game are unbelievable. You have a lot of powers to choose from and each one has its own style. Also, the story keeps you engaged in the game and makes you not want to stop. The boss fights are one of the best parts of the game and they have the most excitement, but in my opinion, I would like them to be a bit more difficult for hardcore players!
Finally, the Final Fantasy that EVERYONE was really waiting for.
While its story reminds of a classic FF, the way the game makes you get lost in it is truly incredible, whether you are a new or an old player. The best of the best. Worthy of its name, finally.
Play the demo to understand for yourself, words are unnecessary, and even if you're not a fan of the series, you can still enjoy it with your eyes closed, as it doesn't affect the story
If you are a fan of the series, just get it. If you like action games, just get it. You want to experience something epic, just get it. Type Soken in Google because you will be left speechless listening to the game's music and wondering who wrote it.
From the demo alone, it seems very likely that it will be the best title in the series, reminiscent of Game of Thrones.
After purchasing it, I have to say that the story continues with a lot of interest, the gameplay is entertaining but also a bit monotonous, I would say, and I am looking forward to completing it to give a more comprehensive update.
