First of all, there is no light bulb inside the candle. On the contrary, contrary to what the image makes you believe, there is a small light on top that "illuminates" the candle. I am attaching a photo for better understanding. If you want it to be hanging, above eye level, it won't work for you, because you will only see the LED. If you want it for on the table or on the floor where you won't have direct visual contact with the little LED, then it might work. I bought 5, and they were all the same, so the intensity you see in the photos I uploaded is the actual and normal one. One photo in the dark and one with low light inside the house
