I had high expectations from this particular shoe, firstly because Nike has not disappointed me so far, and also because their price alone made me believe (wrongly in the end) that they would be impeccable. And of course, I really liked them aesthetically and they do look very nice on the foot.
These shoes have the zero carbon label and belong to the series of shoes made with recyclable materials. This initiative is nice as long as it is done correctly. Overall, the quality of the materials and construction disappointed me.
The tongue is made of a very thin material that tends to fold inwards and lose its position when worn, which is extremely annoying.
The laces are also made of thin material, as well as the loops in which they are tied, leaving me with the impression that their durability over time would be questionable.
In sports shoes, we always take a size larger than the shoes we usually wear, so in this case, I ordered size 39, which, however, had an extremely narrow fit and my toes were almost cramped.
In reviews I read about this model, taking a size up (i.e. 40, while wearing 38) results in a feeling that they are too big and the foot floats.
They are generally considered good for HIIT workouts mainly, and for moderate weight training - they are not the most suitable for heavy lifting. It would also be good not to wear them in the rain, as the material is synthetic knit, quite thin, and does not offer waterproofing.
