Very easy installation. Works without issues through Ezviz's cloud recording. A 30-day trial is also provided. I haven't tried it with an SD card yet. The battery lasts about 25-30 days.
I like that it fits in the eye and doesn't require installation. It has good image quality in the morning and at night. I don't like that in the morning if the person coming has light behind them, their face doesn't show up well. I also don't like that for it to detect, it essentially has to be right next to the eye. Also, at times it goes into hibernation and takes quite a while to detect. I believe it is expensive for what it provides.
More or less, that's how the comments describe it. The only thing that bothers me is that even though I have set it to detect from the maximum distance, it takes a second to start recording, meaning I have caught the thief twice bent over staring at the lock and it only recorded when he stood up. The record was three attempts by different people on the same day (I think August 13th with an empty apartment building), two came at night and left as soon as they saw the red infrared light turn on, and the morning one left when he saw the blue light turn on to ring the bell. Generally, it is deterrent, in the sense of not getting involved with the gadget guy, let's go to another door
Very good camera and fast response to motion detector with notification on mobile. Be careful, the cheapest model does not have a motion detector and only records on the card when someone presses the doorbell
The camera is slow to write, resulting in alarm notifications but not being able to see what has happened (if it's something fast like 1 second). The videos from the SD card cannot be played anywhere, you have to read them through the program. That is, you can't take the SD card and play them somewhere like at the police station on your PC. You have to record them from your mobile. And its application is terrible, it cuts events while they are happening outside your door, misses notifications. I do not recommend buying it.
Positively good night vision - good camera (when it writes)
The installation was very easy. It works normally and I get a notification whenever someone stands in front of the door. If someone rings my doorbell (the one that is built into the device), I can talk to them via video call even though I'm not home. I can also remotely talk to someone standing in front of my door even if they didn't ring the built-in doorbell. The night vision is also very good. Battery consumption is around 1 to 1.5% per day for the usage I give it. Adding the SD card was very easy. I hope this battery performance lasts a long time. I saw that online I can buy a replacement battery when (I hope in a few years) its performance drops significantly. I removed one star because I haven't found out how (if it is possible) to slightly increase the video duration. Also, sometimes it takes a little while (10-60? sec) for the notification to come, and I sometimes miss who was in front of me in real-time. There is a setting for the sensitivity of the motion sensor. If you set it to low, it might miss some fast passersby, but not someone who specifically stands at your door. Overall, it does the job I want. Now, if more expensive devices do a much better job, that is for sure
It does what it promises. You have one month of free cloud, then you do your job with a micro SD. It takes a little time for your hands to get used to it, but it is easily placed and set up.
The product has very poor customer service. When you call them in China, they speak English with great difficulty. When the device is connected to the Internet, the customer service department has access to monitor as well. The camera cannot record to a hard drive, you have to purchase extra cloud services if you want the movements to be stored for a while.
Overall, it does not comply with European Union standards because they believe that the data is registered in China and they can do whatever they want.
Easy installation with free 1-week notifications. Then, after purchasing a 100 euro package, daily notifications should be available for 365 days. Despite that, after contacting EZVIZ, it was confirmed that notifications continue to come even after a package expires in the cloud, but they are not stored. The alternative is a micro SD card up to 512GB which will store the entire history there.
There is instant notification in the application when you have Wi-Fi on, even with the slightest activation of the camera. If Wi-Fi is off, then as soon as you turn it on, notifications come to you. Notifications and recordings are encrypted.
The image is very clear, while in night mode the image is equally clear. You can take photos or videos or even talk to someone outside. Also, as soon as someone rings the camera bell, a call comes to your phone and you can answer normally, speaking to the person outside. The battery is quite good as with a lot of use, more than 2-3% per day, it will not decrease.
Depending on the settings you choose, the battery lasts accordingly. Now we need to check how long the battery lasts in energy saving mode with about 5-10 camera activations per day. I estimate at least a month. You can also choose from the application to set different time intervals and combine certain hours to have energy saving or full operation, etc.
It is activated with every movement. I am instantly notified of any presence. Several photos are stored every day. I delete the ones I don't need. I am satisfied so far.
Excellent product! The rechargeable battery makes it extremely functional. What elevates it is the ability to connect to the internet. It is both a doorbell and a WiFi camera with the capability to answer calls remotely.
It does what it promises in the description and the battery for recording lasts about every 10 minutes because it sees a road with relative movement keeps me around one week
Very good case if you want something discreet and there is no possibility of installing a regular camera (power supply, WiFi, etc.).
It works exceptionally well! It hasn't missed a single notification in 3 months now!
The battery in an apartment (5-10 recordings per day) lasts for 1+ month!
The image quality is okay, could be better though.
The Ezviz application is also excellent.
At the price of €100, it is definitely worth it.
Note that no intervention is made on the door, as long as a conventional peephole existed before.
I bought it on sale for 100€. Overall, it's worth its money, but it's good to know some additional information before making the purchase. Firstly, you can only access the recorded videos through the EZVIZ application, meaning through your mobile phone or tablet (not computer!). So, you can remotely view the camera's live recording or watch the recorded videos from wherever you are. From the device itself, you can see what it is recording at that moment and manually press to start recording. The battery lasts for 15-30 days depending on the movement outside your door, video viewing through the application, etc. The more you use the application to watch the recorded videos, the more battery it consumes. There is also an option to speak remotely through the application and communicate with the person outside your door. You can even distort your voice and receive notifications when there is any movement or when someone rings the device's bell, etc. The image quality is indeed wide-angle and HD. Of course, in the application, I haven't chosen to watch in HD because it lags too much. Overall, it's worth its money and the application is quite user-friendly. Just know that when you enter the application and watch videos, the device makes a "click" sound at the beginning, which can be heard. It also makes a "click" sound when the night vision is activated if you have it enabled and the lighting is low. On the external device, there are two very small red lights when the night vision is activated. It's just that the "click" sound attracts attention to anyone passing by at night or in low lighting and quietness. Finally, the device continues to record if someone passes by outside while you are in the application watching older recorded videos or even the live camera feed.
Very good product, I bought it 10 days ago and connected it very easily. It can fit in almost all doors, as it comes with three different screw sizes depending on the width of your door. The battery seems to be very good, when I opened it, it was at 51% and with quite a bit of use for testing, as well as due to the holiday season, the battery is now at 39%. But in case you're away for many days and want to have peace of mind, you can connect a power bank to it and not worry. The image quality is very good and it performs very well in the dark. The only thing I don't like is that you can't see low down.
Until now, I was using the free trial on the cloud and it's really useful as it notifies you immediately on your mobile wherever you are. I will try it with the SD card to see how it works because the cost is high to have a subscription.
I had a similar one for 6 years. This one is more high-quality and has Wifi Easy connected @ Mobile with alerts. It does what it says, but in terms of battery life, it's not related. If you want to play with Motion detection and recording every second and have Live View from Mobile whenever you need it, then it lasts for a maximum of 18 days. You can add a Power bank on top and charge the battery.
