Description

Safety valve suitable for use in electric water heater. The safety valve is installed in a central heating system to protect it from excessive operating pressure. When the pressure exceeds a predetermined value, it opens to release the system pressure. Its role in the installation is very important, as increased pressure poses serious risks to people and materials. It is installed at the highest point of the installation without the intervention of a switch or valve.
It is a triode, which means it has 3 ports that you can use as you prefer for your installation. You can use one as the input for the medium and the other two as output, or vice versa. When the input is closed, the flow is interrupted, while when it is open, the flow at the input is the same as the flow at the output.
It is made of brass, which is an alloy of copper and zinc, and it has good resistance to corrosion while also being durable over time.
