First of all, I start by saying that it is a very beautiful thermostat (as seen in its photos) with a sturdy construction that appears quite high-quality.
As for its functions, the temperature adjustment is done in increments of 0.5 °C and not 1 °C as stated in the specifications. The temperature it displays is the same as that shown by another digital thermometer I use. The humidity (visible when setting the thermostat temperature) *UPDATE* is definitely wrong, but personally, I don't care about seeing the humidity on the thermostat. Its operation is quite simple and obviously a bit more complex if you want to set the weekly program from the device. Ideally, if it is a smart device, I would prefer it to offer the option of a daily program and not just Mon-Fri, Sat, Sun 5+1+1. There is the option to lock the screen, so if there is a child, you can be sure that they won't be able to tamper with the thermostat. You can choose whether the lock applies to all buttons or all buttons except the on/off button, and among other things, you can even adjust the brightness of the thermostat when not in use (with different brightness during the day and at night!).
Finally, there is the possibility to lock the maximum temperature that someone can set on the thermostat or to lock a specific temperature and have it simply function as an on/off switch (ideal for short-term rentals).
For using the application through a mobile phone, you need the Smart Life app or alternatively the Tuya app (both apps offer identical capabilities and environment). The app's interface could be a little better aesthetically (there is a screenshot), but in any case, its use is extremely easy and simple. Once the connection is made for the first time, the thermostat will update the day and time it displays, and then it will also update the weather.
Of course, the biggest advantage is that it supports Google Home/Assistant (there is a screenshot), so it is obvious what you will use! In Google Assistant, besides voice commands for temperature adjustment and programming, you can simply be informed about the current temperature at home even when the thermostat is off!
As for the installation of the device, you have two options, either to "dig" into the wall and install it recessed with a box or to install it surface-mounted, this time with an external electrical box 86x86 (which fits perfectly with the thermostat, which is 88x88, and you can find it in any electrical store). Obviously, the second solution is easier and aesthetically it does not lag behind significantly (there is a photo).
