I bought the so-called Lian Li because they have been producing good products in recent years, but I had a negative surprise. It has a very bad fan curve and a very noisy fan. While it operates silently up to a certain temperature, as soon as it reaches that temperature, the fan ramps up to 70% usage for 5-10 minutes. This results in the fan spinning like a helicopter on its own every 20-30 minutes in idle mode. Apart from that, it is also very noisy under full load. I haven't measured it in decibels, but it is the loudest component in my system by far, even louder than the second loudest, which is the fans of the Fractal Ridge.
I managed to get the white version for a white build in the Lian Li O11 Mini that was requested. The power supply was tested on a Z590-i with a 10900KF at 6.0 and a 3090, and even though it would be used in a machine with much lower requirements, it held up well and quite willingly. In games, the fan took a while to activate at 21:9 1440p, and when it did, it was overshadowed by the 3090 trying to cool itself, so I didn't expect it to be audible in a lower-end machine at all.
In the final machine that was installed to stay (5930k on X99 with 980Ti), it simply fell asleep and we only heard that it exists when I ran a Cinebench after 9 months just to see if it was still working and hadn't burned out. Maybe there should have been a fan test button on all (gold and above) power supplies. All of its cables are sleeved and the connectors are also white. It lost the 5th star because it was available at that time for only 190€, which even now would be an expensive price. The price of around 140-150€ would be reasonable.
It's burned, I bought it or it burned as soon as I turned it on. Very bad power supply.
