Description
The Osaka IDO MK1 are the ideal shoes for Padel. The philosophy behind Ido has always been: "The athlete comes first." Top minds from the sports footwear industry have developed this shoe over the past 2 years to give you an edge over the competition and take your game to new heights.
- The Ido comes to life with the disconnection of the midsole that changes the behavior of the shoe without compromising stability
- The "O" point under the cuboid bone gives the point the ability to flex, so it does not affect the rest of the foot to move independently. It represents a balance at the central point of the foot for agility, acceleration, and deceleration movements
- The closer to the ground, the better. The IDO MK1 height at the back is 26 mm and the front 18 mm resulting in an 8 mm Drop that brings the player closer to the court
- A crafted mesh upper is the lightest available option without compromising durability. It is noticeably lightweight, breathable, and designed not to retain water. It offers confidence to the athlete when pushing the limits
- The support system hugs the foot in the midsole of the shoe. The system is as close to the foot as possible to minimize lateral movement of the foot in the shoe. There is a support system on the outside of the shoe as well as on the inside to prevent the foot from slipping out of the shoe, giving it a comfortable feel and a tighter lock. The straps on the inside are made using Spenco neoprene, protecting the most vulnerable parts of the foot during sports
- To protect the toes from impact, a protective toe cap has been applied to the front
- The traction features of the IDO MK1 are unique for Padel. Running backward, sideways, rotating, and quick acceleration forward. The full-contact outsole offers complete confidence in quick direction changes and quick braking
- The Ido is unique because it is built around what is called an anatomical shoe last, in fact, it is the first padel shoe ever made using an anatomical last. Traditional lasts are flat on the bottom, while anatomical lasts are fully shaped to the form of a foot. When this translates to the shoe, it means you sit in the shoe with full contact with the surface and not on top of the flat midsole
- An important factor that determines the performance of a shoe on the court is how well the shoe fits the foot and the perfect fit translates to player comfort and confidence. The anatomical Ido has been meticulously sculpted with detail to accommodate different foot volumes

It cannot be compared to asics-babolat (I don't even discuss Nike-adidas). Far better grip, construction quality, etc., but I focus on the fact that the shoe doesn't tire you out, the knee pain that I used to experience after consecutive games has stopped, which turned out to be due to the shoes (asics). Overall, I recommend it to anyone who plays 2-3 games per week.

Super lightweight and the grip is amazing. Much better than the Asics I had.
