The DeepCool AG400BK ARGB is a single tower CPU 120 mm cooler that builds on our legacy of high-quality cooling performance, but is stripped down for a streamlined and efficient package.
Enjoy better system performance by keeping things cool with heat dissipation power up to 220W, featuring four direct contact heat pipes that quickly remove heat from the CPU.
During the installation of the AG400BKARGB, the fan does not need to be disassembled during the process, simplifying and saving time.
With the optimization of the internal capillary structure and the injection of an exact amount of liquid, the heat pipe achieves the best heat dissipation performance regardless of whether the cooler is in a vertical or horizontal case.
This perfect ratio facilitates an extremely efficient phase change throughout the heat pipe and achieves lower thermal resistance across a wide range of TDP.
Find the optimal balance with automatic PWM support for full performance under load to silent performance at idle.
The provided mounting brackets support Intel and AMD platforms with an easy five-step installation process that maintains excellent contact pressure. The offset design of the heat pipes ensures that the cooler can be installed with the fan already attached.

For 35 euros, in my experience, it's perfect; it keeps the processor (I5-12400) at 28-29 idle and in games it doesn't go above 55C
For its price and for an old processor (Ryzen 5 1600) that doesn't generate high temperatures anyway, it's just fine!
Having this cooler for 1 week, so far, I have to say the following:
Significant difference compared to the stock cooler I had on my 11th generation i5, dropped from 55-60 degrees in idle to 42-44 degrees. Under full load, it reaches up to 67-68 degrees, and occasionally has a spike up to 74 degrees, while with the stock cooler I was constantly at 90 degrees and sometimes hitting the ceiling (95+ and thermal throttling..)
The installation was a bit complicated for me, as it was my first time installing an aftermarket cooler. You need to align, as accurately as possible and immediately, the cooler with its mounting base to prevent the thermal paste from spreading on the cooler and onto the heat pipes, and at the same time, hold it steady until you screw it in.
The RGB works perfectly and is compatible with most popular programs for customization.
The fans make noise when they reach maximum speed but stabilize after a while without being particularly bothersome, under full load. Overall, it is quiet and discreet.
At the price of 30 euros that I bought it, it was a pretty good choice.
4.5/5
The cooler is very quiet, especially when the CPU is running at 65w at 49°C with a locked 13th generation i5. At 150w, which I tested, it reached 80°C and the fan was spinning at high speeds, resulting in increased noise. For under 40€, it is one of the top coolers along with the AK400 from the same company, which can easily handle the 13600K. Together with the ARGB, it gives a very nice feeling to the system with very good performance.
