AMD EXPO
The AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking (AMD EXPO Technology) was developed to enable user-friendly overclocking support for all types of memory, providing an easy path to power acceleration to achieve memory acceleration in their system.
Dr.MOS
Dr.MOS is the integrated power solution optimized for modern voltage drop-regulation applications. Compared to traditional discrete MOSFETs, it intelligently provides higher current for each phase, thus offering improved thermal performance and superior efficiency.
12+2+1 Power Phase
It features durable components and absolutely smooth power delivery to the CPU, offering improved performance for gamers.
6-Layer PCB Board
Provides stable signal traces and power shapes, delivering lower temperature and higher energy efficiency for memory overclocking. Thus, it is able to support the latest memory modules with the most extreme memory performance.
DDR5 Memory with Protection Circuitry
Due to the unique electrical architecture of DDR5 DIMMs, there is a high risk of damage to the memory module if the AC power supply is not properly disconnected during removal or installation. To prevent this, ASRock has implemented a protection circuit on every DDR5 motherboard, which reduces the risk of destroying your memory module.
Nahimic Audio
Whether you are using headphones, earphones, external or internal speakers, via USB, Wi-Fi, analog output, or even HDMI, Nahimic Audio offers you the most immersive listening experience, vibrant and rich in detail.
Fast gaming ports
Lightning Gaming ports come from two different controller interfaces that help gamers connect high-speed mouse/keyboard with lower jitter and latency!
Polychrome RGB
In addition to the built-in RGB lighting, it also features integrated RGB headers and an addressable RGB header that allow the motherboard to connect with compatible LED devices such as strips, CPU fans, heatsinks, case, and so on. Users can also synchronize the RGB LED devices to the certified Polychrome RGB Sync accessories to create their own unique lighting effects.
High-speed M.2
PCIe Gen5 Blazing M.2
The Blazing M.2 hosts the latest PCI Express 5.0 standard for double the bandwidth compared to the previous generation, with an astonishing transfer speed of 128GB/s, it is ready to unleash the full potential of future ultra-fast SSDs.
M.2 Heatsink
The very large M.2 heatsink made of aluminum alloy effectively improves heat dissipation to keep high-speed M.2 SSDs as cool as possible, being able to offer better stability while maintaining top performance.
Phantom Gaming 2.5 Gb/S LAN
The smart LAN platform Phantom Gaming 2.5Gb/s is built for maximum networking performance for the demanding requirements of home networking, content creators, online gamers, and high-quality streaming media. Enhancing networking performance up to 2.5 times the bandwidth compared to standard Gigabit Ethernet, you will enjoy the fastest and uncompromised connectivity experience for gaming, file transfers, and backups.
Automatically detects and accelerates gaming traffic ahead of other network traffic for smoother in-game performance without lag for a competitive edge.
Dual USB 3.2 Gen2
It features a pair of built-in USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A and Type-C ports integrated into the rear I/O to support next-generation USB 3.2 Gen2 devices and provide data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps.
Auto Driver Installer
The ASRock motherboard has the Ethernet driver in the BIOS ROM, once you complete the operating system installation, simply follow the instructions and allow ADI to automatically download and install all the necessary drivers.
BIOS Flashback
Get the most convenient BIOS Flashback with a simple click. Users can easily achieve the latest BIOS support with a USB and a power supply, without requiring a CPU, RAM, or other components.
Flexible IO Shield
Unlike most pre-installed I/O shields that are only decorated with fancy colors. It has more tolerance space that allows the IO shield to be adjustable during installation, thus fitting perfectly into the case without any mechanical issues.

Amazing budget motherboard. Easy to install a lot of ports for all your usb needs. If you can spend just a bit more I’d recommend getting the Wifi/Bluetooth version
I believe it is the best compared to other motherboards that you have to spend 250+ euros for AM5. This one is compatible with Ryzen 5 7600X and it is a beast. I believe many of you may have heard that it is not worth upgrading to AM5, but now this motherboard, at this price, gives you the opportunity
The best budget choice (for Greece) for an AM5 CPU at the moment (around 180 euros). The only downside is that it uses ALC897 for audio, which is just OK. If you want better sound quality, the MSI Mag Mortar offers ALC4080 (at a higher cost compared to this motherboard).
I want to add that I struggled with its BIOS/UEFI, as it doesn't display video output on the post screen for some reason (Ryzen 7600X, RTX 3070). Nevertheless, the motherboard works perfectly. Note that the motherboard has some RGB lighting.
Last update to the review. Asrock's support was excellent. Ultimately, a combination of a new BIOS and switching to a different display (a classic TV with HDMI and 1080p) worked. Now, what will make you laugh. Probably the BIOS. The BIOS can be upgraded with flashback, so if this issue occurs, try the BIOS flashback (detailed instructions on Asrock's website).
A year later, I will deduct a star because 4.5 doesn't exist, and this has to do with a small detail. The RGBA it has works perfectly only if you use Polychrome and then Razer Synapse. In Linux, you only have the basic functions that the chip provides due to its implementation. Also, if I were buying now on a budget, I would go for the MSI 650M. I definitely don't regret the purchase, but I would like better compatibility with OpenRGB.
