  Mobile base for round air vents.
  I was looking for a mobile base for my car, I was looking at the bases with many good reviews, but I had my doubts if they would be compatible with the round air vents of my car (Citroen Berlingo). After searching, I found this base which fit perfectly.
  The two hooks spiral and fit inside the air vent, and when you release them with the pressure they exert, they hold the base steady (their opening is 8cm and they spiral to about 5.5cm).   Attempt to install in a round car air vent of an Audi. Simply a tragedy, when the top part was inserted, the bottom part wouldn't go in and vice versa. Even when I removed the horizontal blinds above and below, it didn't fit well, resulting in me never being able to use it. I saw an advertisement from Baseus for an external product that claimed to fit 95% of circular air vents. Apparently, it only didn't fit mine. Nice marketing trick. It's a shame because I had Baseus in mind as a reliable company.

  I am coming back with a new evaluation since it seems I fell victim to poor product presentation.

  Let me explain, in the photo of the product on the box and on the internet, the support base that goes into the air vent is vertically misplaced, as the installation should be done horizontally. There is no photo anywhere showing horizontal installation, so I made the same mistake. The fact that I tried it horizontally was purely by chance and divine intervention!!!

  After properly installing it, I was impressed by the stability of the base, and I even tested it with a heavy phone weighing over 200 grams.
