Self-priming pump made of bronze construction. Double-acting side water ring. Capability of automatic injection, even with intermittent availability in the suction of the liquid to be transferred (presence of air or other gases).Recommended for the transfer or transportation of clarified liquids such as: Wine, milk, vinegar, salty and brackish water with a viscosity not exceeding 4° ENGLER degrees or 30° GENTISTORES degrees. The liquids to be transferred must be neutral and clear or contain only a small percentage of suspended solids (at most 0.2-0.5%) with hardness and granulometry characteristics, such that they do not cause wear on the internal friction surfaces of the pump.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Unfortunately, I have only negative things to report:
- The head is a fake construction, made of some soft metal. So if you tighten the screws a little too much, it breaks (I experienced this with the first pump I had from my father, exactly this model, and I was using it for the first time, which is when I opened it to see why it wasn't sucking).
- In order for it to start sucking, you have to first pour a quantity of the liquid you want to transfer inside (e.g. half a liter). I consider this a big downside, especially when you also have hoses to manage and you are alone.
Having now spent around €80 to buy it again, I would now buy a very good drill pump for €10-20 and I would be fine. At least those don't require this step of injecting liquid to start. Of course, considering that drill pumps don't have the speed (liters/minute) that professional ones have (or you have the patience)
Defective fan (rubbed against the cover) which unfortunately, due to the noise, was not noticed in time, resulting in its destruction.
Manifold pump very useful. It can pump oil from a height of 1.80 and with a 5-meter hose. The only drawback is that you have to fill it with liquid to start. In order for it to be able to start.
Very noisy pump. You can't hear anything for half an hour afterwards. Very good build quality but as I said, it makes a lot of noise.
Reliable, I use it for transferring oil between two tanks, I have been very satisfied!
I bought it for amateur use, I have used it once so far and I am completely satisfied. Very good for its price.
It does what it says. For the wine I bought, it empties a 100L barrel in 2 minutes.
Value for money. Perfect for amateurs and non-amateurs. Attention, you need to do a small suction with your mouth at the beginning in order to fill the hose a bit and start pulling.
