I put it in the garage to have internet in the basement. So it's not exactly in an outdoor space. Be careful with the ethernet cable. To be fully waterproof, you need to use the special rings that are included in the package.
Very good construction. The range is moderate to poor. I tried installing American firmware for testing, where they add more power to the signal, but still the same. Recently, I installed a Netgear outdoor one and I feel like I wasted my money on this TP-Link one
The antenna is very good! In relation to the EAP 225, it is better to use the EAP 650 or EAP 610 if there are many people in the outdoor area where it will be installed. Regarding the comment above about 75 clients and 11 devices, IF these antennas have been installed indoors in the hallways or outdoors of the buildings in order to cover the rooms as well, then there is now a very interesting certification seminar by Xpatit for WIFI in general and TP-Link Omada products. (I have no affiliation with the company, I recently attended the seminar there)
11 devices were placed for 75 hotel rooms, they do their job well, I just expected a little better range for the money, but I suppose they can't increase the intensity further due to European laws, otherwise they are very good, just compared to the EAP 225 Outdoor I didn't see any improvement in the network, maybe it's a bit overkill for the 150mbps I have from the ISP and that's why I don't see any difference. They are very good but I don't know if it makes sense to upgrade from an EAP225 to this one. Unless someone really needs the extra features.
