  Positive---Simply put, the boot is TOP, the best thing you can buy. It is lightweight and keeps your foot fully warm on very cold days. The fur inside is of very good quality.

  Negative---The front is thickly padded, but for the army and mountaineering, it is the best you can buy. It does not have fur throughout the boot, it only has it in the first 6 centimeters, but it still keeps your foot fully warm.

  I have had these boots for 3 years, 1 and a half years in Greece and the last 1 and a half in Austria since I live here now... and they are simply amazing. I have useless knees (4 surgeries) and not all shoes fit my feet, so I didn't expect to be able to wear them. But I can't take them off my feet during winter... This year they cracked at the toe area and opened up, but they still don't let water or cold in. Even at temperatures as low as -25, I haven't felt a thing... and I have hiked many kilometers in the mountains with my dog... If they wear out, I will definitely buy them again...

  When you want to walk on snow and in very low temperatures, there is no better solution! It's simply awesome! Specialized for specific use. I hope it withstands time and the plastic parts don't deteriorate, like other boots from a well-known mountaineering company

  Very good boot for the use it is made for, which is low temperatures and snow. The price of 150 euros is excellent. Relatively lightweight and comfortable for its category. If someone wants it for the city center, a walk on the coastal road, or for a motorcycle, they are looking in the wrong category. The boot is for serious cold and snow, always with appropriate socks for the membrane to work.

  For 0 degrees Celsius and below and if... For temperatures above 0 degrees Celsius, they are extremely warm. Your foot sweats. Hence the nickname Toundra. Perfect on the machine, you don't feel the slightest cold, neither on the foot nor even on the toes. 4 stars because it is not waterproof, as after a month it started letting water in. It is easy to wear due to the fur it has inside. The laces do not come undone like in other brands. This Salomon boot is square in the front at the toes, compared to another Salomon boot I tried. For me, who always wears size 43 and has wide feet in the front, it immediately fit me, unlike another boot I tried, which was somewhat more triangular in the front. Get insoles too because your feet will hurt like mine, as I have wide feet. Anyway, as first boots, I can say that I felt like my foot was being pushed forward, as if I was being given some kind of assistance while walking, especially when climbing stairs, and I liked that. Choose it only for strong cold and get a second pair for summer or spring to endure the heat. I kind of regret buying them because they are so warm. That's why I loosen the top laces a bit to let my foot breathe.

  I bought them for 130€, overall a hard boot that is only suitable for areas with very cold weather, otherwise your foot gets wet. They are tiring to stand in and a bit heavy. On the plus side, they are completely waterproof and made of good material with the guarantee of Salomon.
