Excellent charger, I had energizer and 2 GP, but this one is really something else.
Positives:
- It charges up to 4 AA or AAA batteries simultaneously.
- It charges separately in each slot, regardless of capacities, etc., meaning you can put a 2500mAh AA battery in one slot, a 500mAh AAA battery in the next, and a 900mAh AAA battery in the other, etc.
- It has an indicator LED above each slot which informs you of the battery's charge level based on the color. Red for 0-20%, yellow for 20-80%, green for 80-99%, and it turns off when fully charged.
- If the LED flashes yellow, the battery is heavily damaged and needs to be replaced. If it flashes red, it is completely damaged.
- Charging time: the two hours apply to charging 2 batteries simultaneously (for 4 batteries, the time increases to 4 hours) and for batteries that are 100% empty and have a capacity of 2550mAh for AA and 950mAh for AAA.
- It includes 4 amazing eneloop batteries.
Negatives:
None
Another unreliable charger.
1. A battery that rejects it one day, accepts it the next day, and charges it normally.
2. It disgustingly rejects a battery. You charge the battery with another charger. You put the charged battery back into the BQ-CC55 and it joyfully accepts it, so it charges it again!
3. It shows a scandalous weakness with Eneloop batteries, which it never rejects.
4. Counting batteries that it has rejected as unsuitable, you find them fully charged and placing them in a device, you realize that they are fully functional.
5. You put in a battery. It accepts it and charging begins. After a while, it stops charging and performs a check again. It accepts the battery again and this cycle continues without stopping...
Very good! 5 days with moderate gaming. As for the charger, it is very convenient because it plugs directly into the socket and has separate LEDs for each battery it charges, so you know when each one is ready.
I have had them for over 3 years, I mainly use them for gaming controller, they are worth every euro since you don't need to constantly spend money on batteries
Excellent, charges each battery separately.. It takes a few hours to complete charging, but they last for days or even weeks in games with quite heavy use
Purchased a charger set and a pack of 2500mAh batteries for exclusive use with Xbox series x controller. Absolutely no issues with charging and possibly the best batteries I have ever encountered. 45, maybe even 50 hours of usage (gamers will understand the numbers we're talking about) before they run out. Completely satisfied.
I bought a set of 4 batteries along with the CC55 charger for exclusive use with an Xbox controller for the computer. Exclusive charging with their own charger and alternating use. The purchase was made in June 2018 and already before the summer of 2023, half of them, when you put them in the charger, the light would flash red and they would no longer charge. A little later, the other two followed.
Overall, my experience is good, but for batteries of this level, I think they should last longer than just about five years with very light use.
The origin of the charger is made in China. The batteries, on the other hand, are made in Japan. They do their job just fine, especially for Xbox/PlayStation controllers. So, when you open the package, take them out and remove the paper first that the batteries touch on the charging contact. It is also logical that the charger does not overheat in winter as much as in summer. And finally, if this package is not the best, it is definitely one of the best on the market.
It is very expensive at 40 euros, for what it offers. Something that people don't know is that the Energizer 2000mAh Accu Recharge MAXI, which costs 15 euros together with the charger (similar package to this one), is actually 2300mAh. They last almost as long as these ones and if I'm not mistaken, they also provide more charges than the maximum 500 charges that these Eneloop batteries provide. So, you can give 30 euros, get 8 batteries instead of 4 made in Japan, from the best company in the world which is Energizer, 2 chargers instead of just one, and still have 10 euros left in your pocket! The only truly "positive" thing is that the charger charges faster than the Energizer one, but on the other hand, I don't know if fast charging or slow charging is better for the battery's life and future performance. Either way, I always put them to charge before I go to sleep at night and take them out in the morning when I wake up. In other words, in reality, you pay almost triple the price for 100 and something mAh capacity! While with one third of the price, you can have almost the same performance. With 40 euros, if you spend them on Energizer, however, you get 2300mAh + 2300mAh = (4600mAh + 1 extra charger as a gift and 10 euros left! > Panasonic Eneloop 2500mAh alone, no leftovers, no extra charger, no extra 4 batteries!) Personally, in professional use, I have seen people using GP batteries and praising them. I have the same experience, since I use them because they are by far the best AAA batteries at 900plus mAh!! Generally, I always had the impression that Energizer and GP were and are the best I have ever used, regardless of money. But if you consider the cost, that's where Panasonic Eneloop batteries are unbeatable without discussion! The biggest disappointments and the most unreliable batteries I have ever had are Duracell, which have leaked on me a couple of times, and Panasonic Alkaline batteries. As for Eneloop, thank you SANYO....!
Batteries that last much longer than equivalent non-rechargeable ones.
The slightly higher price is offset over time as you don't need to constantly buy batteries.
Very good charger.. fast and at any moment you know how much your batteries are charged.. and as a gift, the 4 batteries that I think are the best in the world
Very satisfied!! The batteries last a long time. I didn't buy them for professional use but for my little one's games and they are perfect. The charger is excellent. A positive aspect is the LED indicator above the batteries that shows which battery is charging and which one is full. I would buy it again!
A great charger for its price.
It charges high capacity batteries relatively quickly.
The batteries are the best I have ever used.
They last a very long time
It seems to be a high-quality construction, the LEDs are very practical and aesthetically pleasing, and from what I observed, it actually takes about 2-3 hours to charge its batteries. It's great that it automatically turns off when they're fully charged, so there's no risk of overcharging them and losing their lifespan. The batteries are amazing, they indeed last longer than regular alkaline ones (at least in the XBOX controller that I use them for). The reviews generally praise them, so I am optimistic.
Product evaluation, quality batteries and charger. They take about 1 hour and something to fully charge. I use them for my Xbox controller. Before, with famous alkaline batteries, they lasted around 4 days, while with these, I have been using them for over 10 days with 3-4 hours of gaming per day and their indicator on the screen is still full, so they have a future. They cost about 10 euros more than most, but they really deserve it. Also, the charger accepts AAA batteries.
For years now, I have been using these batteries. I have not been disappointed yet. The charger is also very good, it gets a little warm but that's expected.
I use them for the Rift S and Xbox One controllers, they haven't disappointed me. They are noticeably heavier than the regular ones, you can feel them in your hand.
Flawless charger. It does exactly what it promises. It can charge either AA or AAA batteries (2 hours charging for 2 batteries, 4 hours for 4 batteries respectively), with an indicator LED that highlights the charging level.
The Batteries may be the best rechargeable ones on the market! The charger is quite good and helps a lot with the LED colors it has to show the charging progress.
The indication for battery status and how much it has charged is very useful. It seems to have a solid construction. We'll see how it holds up over time. I will only come back if I see something negative
Very good product! I bought it for the Xbox One X controller! The batteries have a very long duration. I recommend it because it saves your hands with AA and AAA batteries.
I have had it for about three months and I use it for the Xbox One controller, it does its job perfectly, you forget what charging means. Of course, with the original batteries.
