We have been dealing with sound for many years, countless machines have passed through my hands, and when I say countless, I mean countless. So, yesterday, and I mean literally yesterday, I was called to set up the sound system for a small party of about 50 people in a 100-square-meter room. They had speakers, specifically the Behringer Eurolive B212D, which on the outside boasted letters larger than the Chinese paper cone of their 1000 WATT first bell. Because I know what 1000 is, this definitely wasn't it.

The time came to play, and guess what? The speakers clipped incredibly from intensities that you couldn't even describe as close to 1000 watts. And no, it wasn't the input that clipped, it was the internal amplifier. So, 15 minutes into my party, I smelled something burning, I don't know what it was, and I didn't want to find out.

In short:
They claim it's 1000 watts, but it's at most 120.
Their bass feels like hitting tin cans.
The highs, just before the speakers clip, sound like a continuous screeching.
They smell like something burning.
They don't know the term dynamic range (ha).
What bothered me the most is that these speakers were sold to some people for 400 euros each as professional tools.

HONESTLY, WHY SO MUCH HYPE ABOUT SELLING BEHRINGER TO THE WORLD (probably big profit)?
Until now, I thought Skytec was the worst in the world, well now it's on par with a company that is promoted by most audio stores, so I predict a lot of people being deceived.

If you want to ruin your suits with tin cans, go ahead and get them. If you want to do your job properly, go to other companies like Peavey, JBL, Phonic, EV, etc
