I bought it a second time because after unscrewing it to charge it, it slipped from my hands and was gone.. it has good video resolution and the battery easily lasts from 2 to 3 weeks
The 2nd purchase from Ezviz. I have the BC1C tested for 1 year. I bought the EB3 for use with a panel. The panel has very satisfactory performance and is USB-C, prefer it to avoid worrying about charging. I tested it with summer sun and it gives 15% daily. You don't need more anyway in power saving mode, meaning when activated by motion, the energy consumption is minimal.
Comparatively, between EB3 and BC1C, it's better to take the 2nd. Advantages of the BC1C:
- Significantly larger battery; in power saving mode, I charge it every 2 months. You can feel the big difference in weight.
- The EB3 only has screw support, while the BC1C additionally has magnetic support.
- Much better image quality and performance in night shooting.
- Better Wi-Fi signal. The EB3 has very frequent interruptions, which is the main reason for the 3/5 rating.
- Better performance in motion notifications.
Comparative disadvantages:
- The price difference is 30-40€.
- The BC1C does not have memory expansion. The EB3 takes extra MicroSD.
General disadvantage of Ezviz. You can't connect them to your own recording system. It has a subscription cloud.
It is essentially an Ezviz CS-BC1C with a smaller battery, no built-in memory card, and slightly worse image quality (minor differences). With the panel, you forget about it altogether. Like all EZVIZ cameras, it only supports 2.4GHz. Very good!
